Slim Pickens and Rex Allen actually rodeoed together in their youth. Allen once said Pickens was maybe the best rodeo clown on the circuit they rode.

Koko is buried across from the Rex Allen Museum in Wilcox, AZ. I think Mr Allen's ashes are there also.
