      @rajori111 it depends actually. If you want to see it from the country culture side, then you almost exactly right. Many (mostly) women dont have the right to say a lot about the arrangements. But if you see it from the actual islam as a religion side, the woman actually have the right to basically anything. And well, different countries has different culture and value, so even if we have the same religion our ways to practice our prayers might different. In my country the woman (mostly) has the upperhand in arranged marriage. Welp anyway, in several countries, there are also some arranged marriage agencies so interview like the videos are not weird, its actually pretty good. You gave your cv, the agency will choose you partner based on your cv and other people cv, if they found a match they will ask you and the person who might be you arranged partner to meet and are you okay with them, if yes they will arranged a meeting for both of you to meet each other, if no then the egency will choose someone else. Its actually so simple.

      @@rodneysessoms8804 Maybe false correlation then, or lack of control. Leaving one family to start another is a ruse started by the upper echelon to control population, a ruse they themselves don't adhere to.
      I live with my parents, and we're average (not rich, but we get by), and I don't have a problem with healthy relationships. It's just a matter of control. The current worldwide economic decline is exposing the ruse; men can't afford to even live by themselves now. Not to talk of moving out just to have "healthy relationships" with women.

      @tanitoluwaj.adedotun4960 6 місяців тому +1

      @rodneysessoms8804 I disagree respectfully. Parents spend valuables years raising children, is it wrong to want the children to stick by them as they grow older?
      Or do we just consider raising the children as service to humanity. So they can go out and start families of their own, and then eventually place the parents in homes so that random people can take care of them?
      Maybe parents should just dump children in homes so random people can take care of them till their ready to go out into the world, then it'll make sense.

    I told my now husband on one of our first dates that if he'd ever hit me, it would be over for good and he would never get a second chance. He was quiet for a long time. Then he said that he felt hurt that I thought it necessary to say that, but he understood that I needed to say it anyway. I asked why he felt hurt. He responded that he thought I'd say it because of his non-European background. After I explained that I had said it because he was a man and not because of his background, he felt somewhat relieved. But that incident told me so much about how he reacts to difficult situations and I felt safe with him ever since.
