This video sums up why I don't really enjoy WvW anymore...
I always preferred an interactive combat, where you react on what your opponent does. These types of groups work in a way that basically the action of the opponent is irrelevant, you can’t even see it. It’s about applying all the defensive and offensive boons to the whole group and just wait until the other group messes up. There are no key abilities to look for or to dodge, it’s like holding a choke point until they run out of resources.
Now sure it is very effective and I'm not trying to discredit anyone here, but seeing this type of gameplay reminds me why I'm not a fan of WvW.
But more power to you guys!! Everyone plays the game however they want :D
Thanks. Just to respond to that as well, for example... When you are 5 players applying boons and you are taking on a group that is x3 your size such as 5v20, and using terrain as a choke, technically that 5 should never win. Numbers matter up to an extent, especially with today's meta. The third fight, where we jumped inside that little area and was using it as a choke, was because we were 5 players and TFG was 25. Can't open field that, boons or not, they are a guild group applying boons as well. I think a lot of people get really hooked on the boon uptime and forget that our guild plays 5-7 players only and we look for bigger groups to fight. People bash boons rather than numbers and I'm the opposite as I wish people weren't so blobby who wants to play with 30-50 players or too afraid to fight.
@@ElektraGw2 Fair play :) I guess I hate when people blob as well. When the fights are more spread out its much more enjoyable to play rather than boon wars

Okay, so here's the traits that I use but I didn't choose the gear stats cause I don't want to give everything away lol. Gear stats are also optional for different people, you can do mixtures like ritualist, trailblazer, cele, etc. You have options.

Lol.. Yea I use the original keys more less, except for the F1, f2, etc.. I play on a laptop and use the touchpad rather than a mouse so hitting all those keys make more sense to me.
what's the dye name kind mam?
I use different golden type dyes like Radiant Gold and Incandescent
Oh and one more thing! I use the Mystic Chromatic Ooze, which makes my gear look metallic and shiny.

@@L4M4B1EST Immortal Fire Halo, Exalted Shoulders, Gladiator Chestplate, Aurene's Crystalline Claws, Blossoming Mist Shard Tassets, Stylish Shoes. I also use Mystic Chromatic Ooze, which gives my armor a metallic/metal/shiny look, which is an item you get from doing the Juggernaut precursor achievement.

I see that you are with Cele statistics, good video, my doubt and I hope you can help me, I need to know how to identify who to focus on in a fight, for example you faced a Firebrad, a Tempest and a Catalyst and you decided to focus on the Tempest and after that they all fell, lately it is very difficult for me to know who I should focus on to win a fight in numerical disadvantage. I would appreciate your help.
In the first fight. They had a support willbender and tempest. Both of those pack a lot of cleanse and I find the willbender being an easier target, followed by the ele. We are condition dps based so sometimes you have to go after the cleansers or else they'll just keep everyone alive. I'd say fights vary on who to focus, sometimes we get into big fights and we will focus a target and realize something else needs focused instead. Example: maybe you are against a pure glass holosmith who can blow you up with overheat and maybe we'd focus that over the cleanser instead because we want to stop their pressure as they can one shot you at times. Just really depends.
@@ElektraGw2 Let me see if I understood, are you telling me that you focused on the tempest only because your damage was based on DPS and conditions and Willbender didn't pose a very big threat but Tempest did because of his ability to clear Condis and consequently reduce your DPS?
@@goodvibes9685 we focused the willbender because both the willbender and tempest were cleanse supports meaning both of those classes are going to cleanse our condis and out of the 2. I found the willbender to be an easier target to kill because the tempest was sustaining more.
