I agree with you 130%. Before seeing this video, I watched highlights (14 minutes) of TCU/OhioSt game which was 4x longer and NO TWEETS/GIFS -- really enjoyed that one. This one is horrible because of those irritating distractions.

As a Texas fan we absolutely needed this W in the type of fashion we displayed. Texas finally put together a full and complete game, I’ve never seen such an electric and infectious atmosphere with the fans last night being in attendance. We shouldn’t be ranked going into next week, I feel if we beat TCU then we could make the argument for being ranked in the top 25 but regardless enjoy the moment and Hook’em onto TCU for another season changing game 🤘🏻

The safety call was horrible and the Foster ejection was horrible. If a receiver is sprinting and juking all the way across the field, there is no such thing as targeting. He's not defenseless, he just got lit up cause he was running east and west without seeing the defender.

Its impossible not to lead with you head. Head on head contact is nature these players know what they signed up for. Let the kids play. Big difference from targeting and a out right dirty hit.
Exactly, there are some calls where I don't mind it. The call on the USC LB wasn't too bad cause in that case he can easily keep his head up and still make the hit. He didn't need to look down and lead with the crown. But the call on Foster was BS. The problem is that you can't lead with your shoulder without ducking your head some. It's impossible to completely.avpid helmet contact and lead with your shoulder. That hit was clean.
Bones12x2 I’m guessing you’ve never played organized football because you should know players practice to hit someone as low to the ground as possible. ESPECIALLY a quarterback. When you go for a tackle you are trained to aim for the legs. I’m not saying that the hits were intentional, but at the minimum these guys are idiots that should’ve known better!
@@LatestSquash nobody ever teaches a player to go low on a QB standing in the pocket. That's even a penalty in the NFL. And of course everybody knows low man wins on a running player but when you get a clean shot on a dude that doesn't have his head on a swivel...you hit the numbers for the big hit just like Foster did. Foster knew the USC player wasnt ready, so no need to go low. Plus, since I have played, I know that even a lot of offensive players prefer being hit above the waist even if they get smashed, versus the legs because knee injuries are the worst injuries in football. Dudes that intend to play at a high level now or in the future would rather get their bell rung than get a knee blown out.
Right I see it as if it happens it happens. If you want to flag them for it okay but they have to stop kicking players out for it.
I can tell you never played. They teach you low man wins not hit someone as low to the ground as possible. They actually reach you to hit someone square in the chest and drive through them. & hitting a QB low is a dirty play.
