Okay so, Zhuzhi Lang: I always thought your interpretation of snake with a lisp instead of over exaggerated s's was super unique! And the fact that you brought it up as a way that shows he's embarrassed about his snake tongue and cutsifies himself to that degree around Shen Qingqiu and Tianlang Jun is a really interesting interpretation. Tianlang Jun & Su Xiyan: Yeah, he always definitely gave off theater kid vibes, even before the last extra. I always liked his and post abyss Luo Binghe's voice. Very kind of soothing and smooth sounding (although TLJ was always far more teasing sounding than his son's.) And I love Su Xiyan's voice. It's interesting you chose an Irish influence for her. I did notice a bit of a different intonation for her, but couldn't quite place it. Ning Yingying: AH! My queen of character development! I didn't notice before, but I think it is now my favorite detail of your video here, how post abyss NYY has adopted some of SQQ' s speaking habits, especially ending her sentences on that lower tone. She sounds far more demanding that way, like he does and I think it pairs super well with her character development throughout the series. Sha Hualing: don't have much to say here, except I think you captured the indignant, flirtatious demon Saintess quite well. This may be a dumb question, but, when you are recording the chapters, do you do it all in one go, or edit multiple takes together?
Ahhhhh this comment makes me so happy! re ZZL: I first wanted to do a very snake-like voice but then I thought that it wouldn't be very nice for the listener to listen to so this headcanon popped into my head! TLJ is a theatre kid THAT'S IT! That's exactly it! NYY as SYSQQ's daughter is forever my favourite thing I record them separately! It's because sometimes I don't like a take or I do several takes then pick the best one. Also it's hard for example to switch immediately between low voices and high voices! But mostly I'll try and do as much in one take then do multiple takes as needed! Also sometimes the pausing between sentences I feel like is too long or too short that breaks the flow of the paragraph, so I'll edit those as well!
Are you planning on dubbing other novels next like "The husky and his white cat shizun", "Heaven Official's Blessing", "Qiang Jin Jiu", or "Remnants of filth" Your voice is so soft, beautiful, yet firm, elegant and change flows from character to character, it is unable to be perceived as a single voice and not 10 different voices with 10 different people. It really will be so greatly wonderful and a rizz if you specially choose Erha for that matter. Your narration has made SVSSS timeless(not kidding at all)...I will never get tired of it and everytime your beautiful voice enrices our experience by 10x Pretty please do atleast consider this suggestion. There are no way even near 'good' audio book for other novels let alone anything else to go by in our Danmei verse. Although there will be so gold if just companies atleast try invest in this Danmei Economy, we fans will really do all we can to support official projects and yet we only suffer disappointment after disappointment. Pretty just atleast consider covering other novel cuz everytime I vusit your channel, I can't help but imagine your voice in those of Mo Ran, Hua Cheng, Mo Xi, Gu Mang, and especially Chu Wanning! This Venerable one will wait not just weeks but months too (inspired by our San Lang can wait 800 years).
I haven't really thought much about it and to be honest I'm trying to just focus on focusing on SVSSS! I'm really enjoying reading danmei atm but not sure if I have time coming up in the next few month to start a new danmei novel which can be very long (like 2ha) What I might do is record the first chapter of novels I like and see how I go, but again I'll think about that after SVSSS Thank you so much for this very kind comment, I hope you enjoy the journey of me reading SVSSS!
