In this video I show my design approach to creating a plant stand that can be laser cut. The idea is to create a design for a laser cutting class. I walk through my design approach in Fusion 360. Enjoy!

    Hey Vladimir.
    Nice Tutorial once again.
Add paper tape, there's tall size for masking painters-tape, on top and you'll get rid of the smoke residue on the top-face.
If both sides are in view, you can do that on both sides ;-)
Speed is in mm/s or inch/s power is in % ;-)
The mix materials is working the best

Thanks Xiao Shi Zi 1! The acrylic actually came with paper on both sides and I ended up removing the top layer. Next time I'll keep it on. The speed is just their own arbitrary number and is set in percentage. It doesn't translate to an actual speed so it's hard to compare with other machines.

What is the icon in the create section to the right of the new mesh icon?

Hi Beach, this was a plugin I had been playing around with. It generates random sized shapes. I may possibly do a future video on it.
