I feel like their perfect shoe would be a wooden plank.

I have an excessively wide foot and have found most weightlifting shoes to be too narrow. I just put an order in for TYR L-1's(the one's Squat University collaborated on) and cannot wait to try em! If yall can get a hold of a pair, I'd love to hear your review on them. Either way, love your content as always.

“That’s enough to f*** something up” in relation to the slight lift at the front had me in stitches. Good review

I actually have that exact pair, for me personally they're really good for squatting. I squat atg with a neutral stance about shoulder width and they're really stable and great in that aspect. But a very good review by u guys to say the least.

Thank you! Yeah as a squat only shoe they might be the best going!

@@SirEoinMurphy No problem, I haven't used any other shoe yet, but so far I really love the legacys.

I'm considering getting these, swapping from adipower 1, purely for squatting. I tend to rock forward on my toes regardless of cuing etc, with the lateral instability at the ankle an issue.

I'd be very comfortable in recommending them for purely squatting. A great go to, but just consider you're squatting style and if the high heel may be too high.

I've got the black and khaki colorway, and they're def less loud than the black/gold or black/blue/silver atrocities

They sound almost the same as the Leistung 2s but without the annoying BOA laces. Lateral stability is an issue for me in my Leistungs, I always feel like my ankles are trying to flop one way or the other. And the rise of the toe! It's infuriating always feeling like you can't touch the ground with your toes, and the Leistung toe is maybe even higher off the floor than these. I don't know what they're thinking with that. Adipower and Romaleos are dead flat heel to toe, and did anyone find that to be a problem? I've been wearing them about a year and I don't think they've settled much or at all.

I have been using my adipowers for about 4 years and never found the dead flat a problem, but the lack of lateral stability screwed me up. I'm not sure however if it's good to prop it up, as that would potentially reduce the amount of stability that could be developed...

I would definitely go with the Anta or the Roma 2 if you could get them consdering you're finding the rise a problem.
