Doxorubicin liposomes

The animation shows the formulation process of doxorubicin liposomes. Doxorubicin liposomes can be PEGylated (long circulating) (Doxosome) or non-PEGylated (Doxosome-NP). Doxorubicin liposomes can also contain a reactive lipid on the surface of the liposomes for peptide, protein and antibody conjugation. The reactive moiety can be attached to the end of a PEG chain (Immunodox) or directly attached to the headgroup of the phospholipid (Immunodox-NP). These formulations are research grade and can not be used for treatment.
