I wish @DEELUXEboots had a better North American presence as their gear looks solid. I also wondered why hiking in Germany I would always see outsoles on the trail, now I know!
All the innovation in splitboarding boots really semm like either a bad joke or some scam. There are already hundreds of at ski boots and compatible bindings from every major brand and a few extra. But first marketing victims say they don't wanna do ski boots 'cuz of no lateral flex and then they go for new softboots with added plates for lateral stifness. Come on, join the dark side for we have real touring mode, full auto crampon compatibility, extended durability of the boots, more bootfitting options, lower weight, smaller footprint and forward flex ratings from high end softboots up to infinity.

Full auto crampon with a real Vibram outsole. Like one that comes on Italian made high alpine hunting boots.
Why does the XV come without rear crampon pad? How is the riding? Definitely two important things which I cannot find anywhere described.

Do you know if these run big or small. I can get a pro deal but no returns. I wear a 30.5 in Salomon. Are these similar?
