This is wack. Bug-types rule. We talkin’ Heracross, we talkin’ Scizor, we talkin’ Volcarona, we talkin’ Centiskorch, we talkin’ Escavalier, we talkin’ Galvantula, we talkin’ Vikavolt, we talkin’ Frosmoth, we talkin’ Buzzwole.
One of my ABSOLUTE favorite MbMbAm bits and the scarce amount of love it gets has always been unfortunate! But this is so damn good I love it so much fantastic work!!
You know I hear you on the bug type complaint, but shall I suggest Araquanid, Crustle, and Scizor? We ain't dealing with just caterpies and weedles any more
I think I actually WOULD do a Bug type gym and I'd be damn near unbeatable, because there's a lot of bugs in the latest gens which have other elemental cross-overs so you can make an elementally complex team that could take down most foes. As a gym leader I'd need a team of 4 so... I'd go: Lorantis (Grass), Centiskorch (Fire), Vikavolt (Electric), Araquanid (Water)
Lurantis is sadly pure grass, not Grass/Bug (as much as it looks like it should be) but if you want a grass type, Leavanny and Parasect are both options! Also, for your gym, you could pull an Aaron and get a Drapion. It may be poison/dark but it evolved from a bug and it looks like a bug, so it’s a bug now.
@@moon3117 honestly, same. the bug type has always been my favorite, even if they've been criminally underpowered for most of the franchise. i get this is in line with griffin's brand of humor, but when he goes on these insult-driven rants about something harmless people enjoy, it feels more like bullying than a bit.
the *s a m e* blastoise
I think that Justin and Travis actually know a lot about Pokemon and this is one of those Olive Garden Fettuccine situations.
~the same blastoise~
Now this is ART. The transition from a truly menacing Griffin bullying Travis to him at the end browbeaten by his brothers? Excellent.
A lot of people end it after "the same blastoise" but I love how you went further!

We talkin' Scolipede
Griffin's ignorance brings shame to us all
You're mentioning pokemon that are only viable because they are something other than mono-bug 😑
And that’s all of em
@@left4twentywelcome to Pokemon?
I frequently quote this on a semi-regular basis
So much venom behind that "idiot". I love it.
Very fun! Appreciate the detail of Blue/Green/Gary/whatever you want to call him being the kid with the Blastoise
Gary is my favorite color.
@@MagnumCarta gary is the name of the character in the anime, its not a typo/misspelling of "gray" on their part!
Blugrary
Griffin as a bug catcher? The little end card caterpie? Such beautiful art!
I love this especially the silhouettes! I love your style!!
this was the most formative thing for me
So a fairy gym that's nothing but Kelfki and I think Mawile

I love your animatics!

Pokémon has done so far 2 separate Ice-type final gyms and they’ve all been easy. I bet they could make a difficult Bug-type final gym

Griffin would do numbers as a Pokémon Rival.
algorithmic punch!
I wish Travis would just respond as though sincerely hurt by Griffin's harsh words.
Dude this content is underrated, I hope you keep making more!
Excuse me! Some of my favorite Pokemon are bug type!
This made me way more upset than it should have :(
