    Love the joy you bring to the sport. As the dad of a 19 year old who’s getting after it, I would love it if you’d add a summary of your risk assessment of the snowpack at the end or in the notes so viewers gain more knowledge. Might be a cool part of FatMap collaboration. Also love the look back at your line. Keep them coming.

    So good... I had the pleasure of skiing Rodgers pass in 2017. Went up the 7 steps and down Forever Young. Still one of the best lines I've ever skied. This video makes me want to go back bad.

    I love the pure joy you bring here! What a playful zone! I hope it's easy to ignore the armchair haters about touring alone...we all have to respect each other's autonomy and respect the risk mitigations we decide to use. Risk management is not the same for any single person, and you're certainly skilled enough to make different decisions than others. The only time to get angry or lecture someone is when they put you directly at risk, and you're certainly not doing that to anyone. That rant was for the armchair yuppies, not Michael.

    I've studied this line. It seems like one that some of us keyboard warriors could actually enjoy. I mean, we can all sit here and stare admiringly at Pontoon Peak or Comstock, but realistically, are we going to drop? Probably not. But this one, certainly seems doable and enjoyable; I mean, you even busted out your wider Kastle skis for this one. Also fun seeing, what I assume, are Cody, Elyse and their team's lines from a few days earlier. Anyways, as always, great stuff Michael -- and a day early so I won't complain a bit.

    • @devinrogers4885
      @devinrogers4885 2 роки тому +16

      Definitely by choice but I fail to see why it’s problematic. Building a channel from nothing is very difficult. I don’t blame Michael at all for riding the wave and trying to make a living off this. It’s a hustle just like anything else in life. Gotta play the game

    • @3Drewski
      @3Drewski 2 роки тому

      @@devinrogers4885 For sure. Can't be a coincidence. But would be interesting to know the relationship (if any) between them.
      Like if Micheal reached out to Cody and said "Hey, I wanna ski a ton in one season, but don't worry you'll bag all 50 before me"
      Or if he just started dropping the same Ep's without warning and Cody was like dafuq is this guy?? Either way I'm sure there's no harm in letting a young up-and-comer ride your coat-tails

    • @brockbenavides7185
      @brockbenavides7185 2 роки тому +1

      @@3Drewski totally assuming but feel it's more of the unexpected riding Cody's wave and trying to complete the 50 before Cody to get the #1 spot. Who doesn't want to be the first at something?

    • @iflanzy
      @iflanzy 2 роки тому +1

      Comstock couloir is right next to Seven Steps so it just logistically makes sense to do both at the same time. It's definitely a coincidence that they both decided to start this season off at Comstock but it only makes sense that the next drop for both would be Seven Steps.

      If you google there is an interview with Wirth -- guy in this video -- where he says he talks to Cody and they share beta. The fact is, his production is low key compared to Cody's and I like it that way.

    I respect your endeavor, your talent, and athleticism. I also respect that you are releasing videos for the same lines Cody skis days after he releases his videos to goose the algorithm. What feels icky is that you are calling your series "Classic Flow" when Bjarne's production company is called Endlessflow. Obviously its not illegal or anything but it just feels like a ripoff.
