What version of vray and 3ds max are you using?
One of two versions work, more often than not.
Alternatively, to enable the VRay menus, do the following: MAXScript Listener > registervraymenus() > Enter
Note: If using 3ds Max 2018 or earlier, open "New Script" dialog > type in "registervraymenus()" > press "Enter" > Save the script > Run Script

I got a false when putting registervraymenus()
Also my script listener is different but i guess it's because of the Max version

DarthCzAr720 what version of max are you using?
After typing in, registervraymenus(), you need to press enter, as shown in the tutorial.
Also, it could be that vray is not installed properly with 3ds max.
I obviously don’t have the scene. So I wouldn’t know the exact reasons behind the “false “ message.

But i found a workaround that did it for me.
Instead of opening the MaxScript Listener i simply opened the "new script", and dropped the line there and it worked !
