- This it the House of Tyme reaction to Abbott and Costello's performing the 7x13=28 routine. This is where Costello attempts to prove to the hotel manager that 7 times 13 equals 28, 28 divided by 7 equals 13, and seven 13's added together equals 28. No one does it better than Abbott and Costello...
The best thing about this routine is that it really does sound like it would work if you are not really paying close attention. hahaha classic.
you should try some of the marx brothers
Every young-student teacher needs to remember "Mistakes come from confusion" and this is a perfect example. Funny and memorable.
Lou is an expert at looking like a fool while secretly being the smartest man in the room.
Bud Abbotts grandson is on YT and he said ....he knows that his grandfather would be proud to know that his work is still appreciated and still making people laugh!! The creative math in this is astounding!! Genius work in this!! Its 91! LOL. Watch the skit again...you can see how he does it! This was done Live on TV and in front of a studio audience!
It's so fun to watch you two enjoy this stuff together.
It's Old Math done the right way for the newer generations.
I had never seen this routine before! Thank you so much for sharing
Genius and thank you guys for this .
Try that with your landlord, he’ll probably call the wacky wagons on you.
Oh. You did review this routine. I suggested it on your who's on first review
The absolutely best one I ever remember seeing was another couple. "Ma and Pa Kettle and the Landsman"
He is trying to pay them for mineral rights royalties and they keep insisting that he is paying them too much and they explain it to him. 😂😂😂😂😂👍🏻

These guys were indeed funny
I mean, it's nonsensical math, but it's a cute trick.
Most people didn't know that Sidney Fields (the Landlord) wrote all the skits!!! He was the one who created this "math" equation. I believe he also wrote for the Jackie Gleason and Phil Silvers Shows. Dude was a comic genius...
dad & son I hope your comedic career takes off.
😂 i've never laughed so hard .. good one man.
I love Abbott & Costello. You should try watching some of their movies. They're hilarious.
Carol Burnett Show is another solid plate for material tips
Lol. I used to watch this with my dad
Such a classic!
I was watching a Bob Hope movie "College Swing." 1938. A pretty good movie and it had a numbers gag just like this. There's also very young Betty Grable in sweaters!
Genius.
Brilliant comedy 🎭
If you havent already, try the "whose on first" routine, its famous.
I also recommend their "Gold Ore" routine. All their stuff is hilarious.
They really owe him 91 dollars.
Sound like the new math they teach in school now
the old bait and switch....
I could try to come up with some skits for you guys. Which of you is the straight man and which is the comic? What style do you have for your routine? Let me know and I'll see what I can come up with
common core math
Lou Costello was a genius
I appreciate that no one ever understands Abbott and Costello
this duo is way funny.
For a good laugh watch the Abbott & Costello routine "Handcuffs" with Mike their neighborhood policeman.
On UA-cam back in 1972 from the "Flip Wilson Show " Michael Jackson and Filp do this very routine .
In the con game it's called the number drop
Hi
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Should check out the one where they can prove they are not here very funny too
You are the first ones to comment he is writing that on a wall. 13 X 7 + damaging the wall = a lot
Rent was 7 dollars a week... think about that lol!
Ma & Pa Kettle Math {Search}
25 divided by 5 = 14
Watch Ma & Pa Kettle 14 into 25

You should react to George Carlin. "you have no rights"
just had to diminish the brillience of that
