I get anxiety just thinking about surgery. 14 years ago i had brain surgery and woke up a completely different person as far as personality and capability. HUGE props to the person who decides to donate the kidney when the time comes. Cheers everyone👍🙏

@@jakerazmataz852 I remember being the life of the party, very intelligent, confident, and motivated. After waking up I had a panic attack for probably an hour. Hearing and smelling were like superhuman and still are today oddly enough. As for personality I'm now way too lazy and unmotivated. Unfortunately now have depression, anxiety, and double vision(tumor was on my optical nerve). Oddly enough i was a smoker before the operation and woke up without the urge to smoke anymore lol. Sadly yeah i'm the complete opposite of who I was beforehand.

What a long day for you. I am also happy for the patient who was the match. I am very happy to learn you are at the top of the list. You will be totally knocked out for the surgery and will not feel a thing. Then, you will be given pain medication. You can do it. You are stronger and braver than you think you are. Eat, enjoy the dogs and get a good night's sleep. Being at the top of the list means this can happen relatively soon. ❤❤❤

unfortunately food is the enemy of a dialysis patient ... water and food will drown you from the inside out due to not being able to get rid of fluids properly. Food is mostly water when it breaks down, and well water is fluid that retains inside the body when you can't flush it out normally. I get the sentiment though.

I had a liver transplant back in December, I was scared too. But I'm glad I went though it. I wouldn't be here right now, If I had not went ahead with it. God is good, I'll be praying for you 😊

That’s how us Trump supporters are we take care of our own and we support one Trump supporter to another. The better the match the less chance of rejection and less prednisone and immunosuppressives. When you wake up, you’ll feel the pain, just ask for pain meds. Also no flowers or fresh fruit, you’ll be immunocompromised.
My brother takes no meds for his transplant from me, it happens in 1% of sibling matches. When I was in dialysis, 4 of my patients got beeped for transplant, while I was putting them on. I’ll pray for you.
