I don't think that the Necrons get to pull their models off the board after they know their secondaries. That gets them a huge advantage. They're meant to be pulled at the end of the opponents turn, do command phase (pull secondaries) and the they can come back in the movement phase. Also, where does it say you can't teleport out if enemies are within 3"? It mentions engagement range (1") but no where does it mention 3"
@@TheAgentmigs thanks for taking the time to reply. I was referring to the fact that they mentioned - several times throughout - 'I can't teleport these out as the enemy is within 3" of my units' meaning they couldn't teleport into reserves using the detachment rules if an enemy model was near. Yet I don't see mention of this limitation anywhere in the rules, unless I being blind 😅 The only limitation is being in engagement range.
@@TheAgentmigs 1:38:30 managed to find one clear example of them mentioning this shortly after this time stamp. Hope that helps. There are more in there somewhere
Haven't seen an Admech win on UA-cam yet. Let me know if any of you have come across one. This is the second Admech loss to Necrons I have seen just on this channel.
This was an interesting game, although people are complaining about Admech losing, I'd say this was a kinda close match, this is obviously them not using the most optimized units either side, such as their comments on C'tan shards, like Void Dragon being a cool looking model but not that good, but is actually super strong in this current edition with the updates, very effective with most detachment rules, particularly Hypercrypt Legion and Canoptek Court. In my opinion and what I've seen, Admech are now actually a viable faction to play, where as before, they were a slog to play, let alone paying the money to make one of the most expensive armies that were mostly terrible. It was only worth buying them because their models look really cool and would be very fun to paint. I'd love to see Admech VS Orkz, Admech VS Sisters, Admech VS World Eaters and Admech VS Chaos Knights. and for Necrons, VS Sisters, Necrons VS Tsons, Necrons VS World Eaters and Necrons VS Leagues of Vol.
OK, i have been doing some research. It seems the Kastelan Robots could not make the charge into the Hexmark Destroyer. The Criteria to get into hand to hand is to get to base to base, or engagement range. Since the Hexmark is on the second floor of that ruin, they would have needed to climb the wall to get him, but there is no room for the bases to get base to base. In the rules it says if you can't climb the charge can not be made. Unless its some tourny rule i have not seen or some addendum i have not seen, if you have modes on a ledge that is 5 inches up and line the edge of the ruin floor is full of enemy models, making it impossible to base or climb, the Charge fails. Leaving you vulnerable to plunging fire, or just plain shooting. If i am missing something please enlighten me. I have scoured the rules and cant find a rule that lets you attack a models above you more then 2 inches.
@@VanguardTactics Apparently i didnt Scour the rules enough to have missed that. Thank you for enlightening me. So hypothetically, say like a unit is 6" up and lineing the edge of a ruin floor, can the charge be made?
Is there a point to these games when admech just gets crushed in literally every single video? There's been FIFTEEN admech vs Necron games on UA-cam and admech has lost literally every single one. It's like watching baby seals getting clubbed at this point.
Yes I'm excited to play my favourite army that ive run for years, but a 0% win rate is rough, Richard siegler, one of the best admech players in the world, has won a game in the art of war war room, but only just.... I understand this is a tough matchup but that cannot be healthy for the game surely...
I just watched one where Admech won 94-80 against world eaters. I find it funny when people doomsday about an army that hasnt really come out yet and has not had any time to be optimized or built around. Most of these channels have load outs and models and builds optimized for previous editions. Give the book some time. Let people figure it out. MAYBE try it yourself for a bit and then complain about it. I think they can win games. I think there’s builds out there for the army, and I think it’s a finesse army that’s not as easy as point and kill.
@@cullenasaro2229 While that may be true it doesn't bode well for Admech. That's only a 6% winrate with 1 win and 14 losses. Granted it is new codex syndrome, but Admech is still massively struggling.

Correct on the first part. Could you time stamp the 2nd part with the 3" ?

Hey, I know this is a very late reply but they said in the Video description that it was a mistake on his part ^^@@MrAltF4
Aaron is the best! Literally my same reaction whenever my opponent divulges their entire army on me

He says “I reroll 1’s” against the destroyers and then doesnt reroll 1s
Thats some next level psychological warfare.

Engagement range is 1” across and 5” up so it’s possible to charge a unit on a second level, if you are within 1” across.

We wouldn't consider the score in this game to be crushing! We think Aaron gave the Cogboys a good go!
Admech definitely dont seem well balanced this edition. Im not wasting $60 on a codex it took them 2 hours to shit out.
Let me guess, yet another admech loss? Ive yet to see single win on YT.
That’s funny because I watched a battle report last night where Admech won 94 to 80 against world eaters
Was going to say the same thing. I watched that stream last night on Northern knights gaming. Admech won and swung the last two turns hard
@@Lionofmovies people love to complain about a thing they don’t even have yet. It’s hilarious.
Does complaining about stuff help you compensate for something?
