It seems that the performance of this bike is more designed for the track rather than public road speeds. I certainly could not compete with this bike on the track.
Much much shorter 1st gear on the BMW R1250R, also more front heavy so easier to keep the wheel down, plus the difference between 3.3s or 3.1s or whatever is basically run to run variance anyways.
@@mototop_Ahhh 0-100! Didn’t see that. Yes probably because the BMW is easier to launch. But the fireblade is still faster. 3.6 100-200 is hypercar quick

its not like we need it to be anymore faster, 300kmh is mindbogglingly fast. its just abit annoying when you have to remove the restrictions to get the full potential. its already too fast for the streets anyways, so why not give buyers the whole performance straight from the factory?
If these could go past 300 then people would try to see the top speed, but the 300 limit stops a lot of people from trying it because they know there is nothing past it. In theory safer.
Why do some Fireblade top speed videos here say she can go 340? Can one unlock bikes, or how does it work? I've heard that there's a gentleman's agreement amongst the manufacturers that these bikes don't go beyond 300kph, officially.

The first FireBlade was launched in 1992, so the 30th anniversary edition is a 2022 bike, though it might have been released a little early in some countries. Mine wasn't registered until 2023 but it's still a 2022 model. The first FireBlade I owned was a 1999 model, the CBR900RR-X FireBlade, but I bought it in December 1998.

In some countries, there are people who can reach 348 km GPS speed with this motorcycle. Only with full exhaust and software. You are making a mistake in the video, the engine gives its maximum power at 14,500 rpm. You shift into 6th gear, which has a very long ratio, very early at 14,000 rpm. If you move towards 14,800 rpm, you will see a speed close to 310. 3.6 seconds at 100-200 is incredible.
348 only with exhaust and software? Of course for 348 you need a lot more power or way better areodynamics. For example the WorldSBK bikes reach about 330 (maybe 335 on a straight road). Older MotoGP bikes that could reach 350 (with way better aerodynamics) had at least 240hp.
