Modern day philosopher. Also went down the rabbit hole quite deep. Also just like others mentioned I drastically reduced the stuff. I do own a Glock too, 19.4 not tricked out just a optic and a light which I shoot a lot but I can't carry here in EU where I live. Knife wise it's all users, a Reeve a Demko, 15v Manix and a few others. Couple expensive ones which I also use, can't have em sit and collect dust. I strongly believe makers prefer seeing their stuff used rather than showed off for likes but it is what it is. Lights I pretty much run my Zebra sc64 w HI, still such a great and compact solution.
And absolutely people are free to enjoy and use their items as they see fit. Wanted to share how I came to my decisions. Glad to see I’m not alone. Had the SC65 and sold it to try others. I am wanting to get another. Compact, ui can be set up to your liking and good edc output and runtimes. What a practical light should do. Be safe and thank you
Flash lights are so important. I use my key chain flashlight everyday walking through the garage at night, checking the mail box at night, and looking for stuff under the bed, behind the sofa, and under the car seats. The flashlight I carry at work is the Olight Batton Pro 3. I know a lot of people crap on Olight but none of their products ever failed me except when the battery run out on my Balder Mini unexpectedly. The Archer Mini by ThruNite is what I carry off work along with my Mini 2 Olight keychain flashlight which I use the most. I hardly ever charge it and has never failed me. I know I said Flashlights are very important, but you don't have to spend a bank to get a good flashlight for everyday use. Now if you are in very harsh environments than yes, I would spend some real money for a flashlight that can handle it.
Love my little keychain light! Always try to have one handy for sure. And absolutely. Lots of good lights for affordable prices. But just like I have a few “nice” things, it’s nice to treat myself haha
After carrying everything under the sun and getting suckered into the EDC "lifestyle" for decades I have gone back to being a minimalist. POM, the smallest light that Streamlight makes, small card size front pocket wallet, SAK classic and saber ground Spyderco endura, cotton bandana and a Kel-Tec P32 or an LCR22 in a front pocket. No reloads, no "fighting" knives and most days I don't even wear a belt anymore. I do have a fanny pack with other "survival" stuff that is always with me in the car. GPS, extra ammo, fire starter 2 mylar blankets, etc. Basically, stuff to survive in the woods where I spend a lot of time.
I’m sure after trying everything, you’ve found what works best for you. There’s some real enjoyment in that alone, to know you optimized it best for you and feel prepared
The main trick for me was to go down in size with as much as I can, Spyderco Para 2 got replaced with the Para 3, Trayvax Ascent wallet, Macrostream, Smaller G Shock and my 19 has no attatchments
Hard to say. The 22lcr is much easier to shoot and cheaper. If 38 doesn’t bother you and you feel proficient enough with it I’d carry that. But whichever you pick just put the time in and know their limitations. Most of the time I have my semi-auto but I don’t feel unprepared if I take my snubbies with me when appropriate
All testing I’ve seen on their handhelds to this point have shown lower than advertised specs. And I was hit with flickering issues as well. Sturdy hardy lights but for the price I want consistent performance especially with SF and Modlite out there in the US made market. And other brands available like Weltool who make potted duty high output lights along with other overseas made lights. I just wanted to get what I felt was best use of my money. Currently using a SF EDC1-DFT as my “duty” light if you can call it that.
Finally, an actual relatable UA-camr.

Nice Surefire that is one of the best lights they make hands down!!!
I’ve been wanting one since they released and man I’m glad I finally got it.
Awesome gear. I'm jealous of that pm2.
Man I feel so lucky to have it. It’s a keeper for life for as long as I’m able. Thank you

Slimming down def has its advantages!
After having the .38 now, which would you say you’d rather carry? .38 or .22? I have the LCR22 currently, debating if it’s worth getting the .38

Did you get rid of the cloud defense flashlight? If so why? thx
