Teaching a "hang tight" cue

- My preference is to maintain 100% connection with my dogs 100% of the time. That holds true in training and in the ring. I typically never look at the judge. Because my dog is my partner. And I'm giving them my undivided attention. It's only fair, since that's what I ask of them. However, sometimes things happen and I need to look at the judge or stewards for a few seconds or minutes. I may even need to talk to them. I don't want to lose my dog's engagement during that time. This is why I teach a "hang tight" cue.
Great idea
