My mother and uncle ( her brother) were sold by Georgia Tann. My mother about 10years ago found her her family . She will be 80 this year. Took her life time to figure out what happened!!

I don't think this stopped when Tann was discovered, nor when her cohorts were found out. I think it continued well into the 60's and maybe even continues with stronger connections today. Something very similar happened to my Mother when I was born. She remembers a twin birth. Myself and a twin brother. She was doped, and then told it was not true. This was in 63.
Even my birth certificate is not marked as single/twin/triplet, or other........but my younger siblings are all marked as single. I was born at Baptist Central in Memphis and I've always felt that I had a twin brother. No one had to suggest it. My Mom never spoke of her trauma until one day I brought up as a 'remark' during a tv show we were watching together about twins and how much they have in common even if they have never met.
Yeah....... I'm sure within myself this never stopped. Closing the doors of a building and people stepping down did nothing but deflect. That's it.

My late husband, Robert Gribble was stolen along with other siblings by Georgia Tann. Roberts only sister was sold to a high profile newspaper owner in Florida. Quancidine Hinson-Gribble

The REAL shame is how the Tennessean politicos protected both Tann & Judge Kelly from any prosecution, and how everyone involved said NOTHING! Well, we can hope that Tann, Kelly are in a place of torment, and that the babies murdered by them are in God;s hand's!
