Hi, that farm table is awesome! Paint the box grey w/whitewashed & those 🌻 sunflowers are beautiful together with pumpkins! I can't wait to SEE your table✨
I enjoyed watching your tutorial video! I have also made "home-made" pumpkins. Yet, being on fixed income, I just used fabrics in "Fall" colors, cutting various circles, and then sewing a running-stitch at top to gather it; similar to how "Yo-Yo" fabric circles are made for quilting/table-runners, etc...and my stuffing that I use is simply plastic grocery store bags! Yes, for real! Works awesome! Sometimes I cut flowers or leaves directly from the fabric itself and with using Mod-Podge it stiffens it. I do use the cording or various ribbons for making the stem (or I stuff a long narrow piece of cloth with cotton balls), and adhere that to the top with a glue gun...These are soooooooo much fun to make, because each one can be so different! I display them on bookshelves, at my entrance to my home, on the mantel or various shelving around the house. I've even made "pink" ones or "blue" ones for baby girls or baby boys born during Autumn (...to match their Nursery decor, too) as baby presents, or to adorn a gift. Thanks so much for your ideas, also! :)
LOVE ALL YOUR TIPS AND CRAFTY PUMPKIN IDEAS..I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKED THE CRUNCHY FABRIC PUMPKINS,,,THEY LOOK ROUGH AND NATURAL,,THE WAY THEY ARE IN REAL LIFE❤️
I'm so glad I took a screenshot of the pumpkin because I just spent the past hour trying to find your video, I did Google lens on my screenshot and it brought me to you!! I've been wanting to make the fabric pumpkin, clean my craft room and I'm ready for fall / Christmas crafting.
I would stain the wood to match ur valances, do the pumpkins with the sunflowers for sure.As far as ur lighting I love all of them except a.I think it's the least farmhouse looking one.But I'm one that has to be able to see it up.I took my bathroom fixture back to Lowe's 3 times.I told them what I was doing n they told me just don't hook it up n we will seal the box back up.Tbey were super nice.Good luck.Thank you for sharing ur beautiful ideas.God Bless
i loved C light because has manyy perspectives for decoration in every season and i like pumpkins with candles or flowers with candles and pumpkins in other space on table
I think it will look pretty when you're all done! I think you should put a little greenery, like lambs ear, etc. with the pumpkins instead of the flowers. Not sure about the boxes, maybe not too dark, maybe painted and distressed.
Light fixture number c is my favorite. I like the idea of the boxes being wood Staind. I also like the pumpkins with those big beautiful flowers. By the way your house is lovely! Love your big dining room!
Your table is fantastic! And your fabric pumpkins look GREAT! I personally like the box without the sunflowers, more of a natural look than artificial flowers. Dark or the gray - either would be nice & D for the light fixture! But what's more important is what you like, everyone has a different opinion! Good Luck! Diane
GREAT IDEAS...c- on the light fixture, lots of decorating ideas can be done with it. gray on the box then off white over top of that then sand to distress allowing the gray to come through...no flowers , but maybe a leaf garland twined through and some fairy lights... just my own thoughts after looking at your room, Love your channel.
Flowers and pumpkins I think the fullness the flowers will give around the pumpkins will get the look you are seeking :) Since some of your chairs are different colors of browns and creams I would go white/grey colors so they don't get lost on the table ...I think you will love the contrast :)
I loved this pumpkin tutorial as far as your table box I would paint it white and I like it with the sun flowers maybe throw in some cotton ,acorns ,and a pinecone
I love it!! This is such a cute idea for the Fall! I love it! I love this Idea. I will try it. I go to Dollar Tree all the time. I would like to use this Fabric on foam pumpkins from Dollar Tree. So Creative and so Beautiful for the Fall and Winter.
I would use the dark stain on the wooden boxes....would be a nice contrast to the table. I would also use spanish moss or excelsior moss to cover the foam and kind of hide it as you can peek through the pumpkins and see it. I like the pumpkins with a few flowers mixed in randomly here and there. Love the farmhouse table. I like the oval light fixture the best! First time watcher..I am going to check out your other videos.
I’m loving the sunflowers and I vote “D” they all look nice, however. Hope you show off whatever you decide you have a beautiful home very inspiring. Love your channel. Keep up the great work. Ty.
Love your little wooden boxes! You could also use wadded newspaper under the core-board (or poster-board) to elevate it to the various heights you want, as well. ... I use tablecloths for a lot of uses around my home, too, and either glue-gun or using the adhesive tape as you did for making the hems, even though I have hand-sewn, or used my machine! Craft paints are fun to use on the fabric, also! You could paint Autumn leaves around the edges, or a pumpkin (or two) at each end, and then add a bow in plaid or polka-dot, or stripe, depending on the colors in the room. Even a pom-pom edging would look great! Now, about your ceiling lighting, "I" like the wrought-iron candle look, and the sphere, or a lantern-look IF you have that Farmhouse type of decor. It might limit you should you later, down the road, change your furniture style from the Farmhouse or Country look. Yet, I think both of those you showed are still more Traditional to blend with any decor, as opposed to the very Modern ornate ones. Just go "simple" if you're not sure what trend you can live with...Flowers, or just pumpkins? "I" like the sunflower look, but you could add pine-cones as another possibility, if one of those boxes was going to be near a fireplace display. Or, even to use small shapely twigs (direct from the outdoors) and paint them in copper or silver or gold, or Autumn orange/tans, and brown - as fillers in-between the pumpkins that would look cute, too! You could use just a bottle of white shoe polish for one box, it would add just a bit of color and give it that antique look...same goes for brown boot wax. Or, whatever your colors are that you decorate with for Easter/Christmas...Fall/Thanksgiving...of course a "white" box you could use for 4th of July, too (little flags and aluminum stars) or Summer >Shells! You can always repaint over and over...I couldn't afford the expense of the wood, (I'm very frugal, being "single/fixed income") but often I save empty boxes that small appliances come in, or from the grocery store. I paint the boxes, and glue-gun cording around the bottom half, fastening a little sprig of posies or leaves from the craft store, or whatever the season might dictate, even heavy rope to make handles on each end...punched-out with a hole-punch, no one ever can tell...looks just like wood or a basket I purchased at the store, depending on; how I paint the cardboard box, and if I use this for outside decor, I don't have to worry should someone steal it - since all I am losing is my time not much out-of-pocket, that's for sure! I've even glued little round wooden balls underneath the box, and place it on the floor to hold blankets/throws near a sofa, or magazines. :)
I use drop cloth, burlap, or seasonal napkins and tea towels for table runners, too. Your farm table is FABULOUS! Can’t wait to see the light fixtures once they’re installed. Your pumpkin patch theme is beautiful. Have you ever used raffia as a filler? It’s a great anchor and adds texture. It’s also inexpensive. Love the tutorial!
I love the flowers mixed in that's just my opinion but I love sunflowers so I think those look so gorgeous and if you go to like a farm where you can pick your own pumpkins you always see sunflowers good luck I think it's beautiful already
Love E for sure I think it would look great in y’all space. I think the sunflowers give it a little extra oomph to it more polished. However I pretty much put all my pumpkins in the same type boxes and I throw done some greenery and corn stalk stems I guess is what you call it and some of the little led battery light strands, I really love how it turned out it looks beautiful.. love you’re farm table 😍 I need it in my life . Happy crafting 😘
Light C would look gorgeous since you are doing 2 fixtures. I like the Pumpkins only. White wash on boxes. Your craft projects and your decorating choices are lovely!!
I'm brand new to your Channel. I like D & E light fixtures. if I were to do them in my house I probably could do d. Can't wait to finish this video and watch more of what you have to offer.
C or D for the lanterns and I think the sunflowers would look great with the pumpkins...it will be beautiful and I hope u show us when ur finished....tfs
I love sunflowers and pumpkins that would be my pic I would also pick the dark brown just because I think it would be a lovely contrast to the sunflowers but also flowers over the summer and on and on and on and I really like the light fixture be good luck
I was envisioning a blue box, too - only because Navy and Turquoise are so popular right now. It depends on what her colors in her home are. However, if she uses the red-checkered fabric for a table-runner, the "blue" box might make it look more 4th of July...Of course, how cute would that be, IF someone lived near the ocean or a New Englad state, and their pumpkins were in Nautical colors...that would be sooo cute, wouldn't it?!? The pumpkins all in various shades and patterns of blues, and taking silk flower leaves (painting them in whites/creams/blues) and the flowers would be...hydrangeas or sunflowers in Autumn colors - or the same! WOW! "Cool," huh? And then, add a battery-operated string of lights ~ A Show-Stopper Centerpiece For SHORE, right? ;)
Great ideas. Love your pumpkins. For sure going to try this with some of the ugly pumpkins I have. Idea if you still have all your fabric scraps us them as stuffing. I had gotten a pumpkin that I thought was stuffed with batting but when I started looking at it closer to my surprise , I realized it was stuffed with fabric strips. It was made like the one you did twine coming up the sides. I haven't tried this yet because I didn't have any scraps but after I make a few like yours with the pumpkins, I think I will try to make one. If you try it let me know how it turns out.
I think a mix of pumpkins and sunflowers for September and then take out the flowers and add in some Halloween decorations for October, then Indian corn and such for Thanksgiving.
Just found your channel! Love your fabric pumpkins! For the pumpkin boxes...I added pumpkins to my box and filled in gaps with a few sunflowers and fall leaves. And, my opinion on your light fixture...I love letter E or C! BUT, really all of your choices are beautiful! Just do YOU! Have a great day, girly!
Hi, new subbie, love your farm table, WOW! I would stain your boxes to match your curtain valances, the warm color, fantastic. I love the chandelier D, and also I think filing both boxes with a mixture of everything you have would look so sophisticated, and charming thanks for showing how you make the fabric pumpkins, gorgeous!
Dark stain boxes with the flowers and bit of greenery. C or D light fixture, though I am stuck between choosing between those 2 for my dining room, too.

Your table is fantastic! And your fabric pumpkins look GREAT! I personally like the box without the sunflowers, more of a natural look than artificial flowers. I was envisioning a blue box, too - only because Navy and Turquoise are so popular right now. It depends on what her colors in her home are. Pumpkins and flowers !
I like it with the flowers. I really liked option “D” for the light fixtures! I think they are all beautiful, but “D” would look best with doubles. Good luck!
Assuming it’s all proportional! I’m sure that big beautiful table is even bigger than it seems on camera! 😊
I just started watching and I really enjoy them. I like your hacks also! I vote for light C if it’s not too late
Sharon Cooper Thank you!
I would do the pumpkins with flowers. I would do the gray with white on the wooden boxes , as for the lights I like C or E.
Beautiful pumpkins 🎃 I love your style 😊 tfs
