Hey man! New viewer here. I am writing this from my heart. Initially, I was like "Oh, I'll watch just another UA-cam video showing how to draw flames". But after carefully watching your video I realised that there is something about you that makes you stand out among other art-related UA-cam channels. You take the time to show the art creation process. Unlike anyone I have EVER seen (besides, I like your style and you make astounding drawings). I truly want to encourage you to continue on this path. Although it seems that you are not achieving "successful" results according to UA-cam, you are without a doubt a great artist. I hope one day your channel goes big and you're still keeping up the good work. Don't forget. Don't stop. Don't give up. Peace, Esteban
What I love about your tutorials is that you took the time to thoroughly explain the palette that you're using, and also the every stroke you take - exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. Keep up the great work Sensei. Btw when and what is going to be the next stylized tutorial?
Well the moment that I realized you were doing flame tutorials I was super excited, cuz I suck at flames, so this should help me quite a bit Though worried is also probably a good emotion for it XD
Hi. Great tutorial. Thank you. I just wanted to ask... when I'm trying to make that wind effect there is some kind of error and afterwards there is a white spice in the place where fire was before changes.
@@Gammatrap I can't really see to do it well with the hard brush not the hard round brush i imported from online, it looks weird, but when I did it earlier with the soft brush it looked a bit more realistic, does it matter what brush I use or was that just your preference?
Oh it doesn't matter at all :) I only just teach with that brush because every program has it. The main points you'll want to focus on is color and form. Whichever brush you like that can nail those is perfect!
I see you always blend by switching colors and painting one color into the other and vice versa. Is there any difference to using a blend tool or is this just a personal preference? Thanks
It's a preference. When you use the smudge tool (for example) you're letting the program decide how to smudge and blend the colors. Picking and choosing for yourself gives you a little more control.

Can't wait to master the art of fire
We go from cute small candle, to why is the house on fire?
Lol 😂

This was an excellent, simply explanation of drawing a real flame. It translates really well to drawing it in BW.
I adore you. Thank you for this
It's my pleasure! Hopefully the next ones I've got scheduled are just as helpful :) if they're what you're looking for
Damn, that blue was good! Made a genuine stank face when you added it. Great stuff, this.
started following you for your Destiny fan art but man this tutorial is awesome! can't wait to do the big flames
I got out of the shower, checked my phone, and then sat down in my towel and watched this, didn't bother getting dressed until it was almost done
I am both worried and impressed 😂

how would I do this on procreate? like what settings and stuff would i need to do?
You just grab a hard round brush and pick colors similar to mine :)
@@Gammatrap thanks man:)
