Eli wrong. It's much more difficult technically to play this classical on guitar than piano. I play both. I've played guitar for 11+ years, piano 5+. And I could never hope to do this on guitar like that so cleanly

Bro this tab is actually amazing and I’m glad I got it, this is actually a piece that I wanted to learn and probably the first actual classical piece that I’m trying to manage to play and perform and so far it’s going really great. One of them. There’s a few great classical guitarists but one thing I can say with certainly is that he has the best repertoire by a million miles. It’s quite astonishing.
I bought the sheet music because I was struggling with the piano version my son is learning, trying to translate that to guitar. I had a hard time with that, but once I started studying this arrangement, it began to make a whole lot more sense. It's been fun, thanks. Once I master this one I'll be back for more!
May sound dumb but, I came here because of Ralph Machio in crossroads. Steve Vai version of Eugene's trick bag is legendary but, when he was at Juliard playing this, was really impressed. I play electric, but I rarely use a pick anymore. I wonder if it's possible to play still with the strings so close together? Might take 10 years or so but, I'm gonna try. When I go to guitar center, everyone is always trying to play these lame riffs. I busted out a classical piece I wrote there across from these 2 posers playing, and they unplugged and walked away. Felt cool. Anyway, you guys have good taste and know what real playing looks like. This guy's a real bad ass.
This piece is a monsterous one. Its arranged in a way that it still sounds as full as the piano version. That is not an easy thing to do. I just bought the score on the LAGA website. Hopefully I'll have it down by the end of the summer!
@@murphvienna1 Asturias was originally piece for piano, but progression for that piece is very natural on guitar in E minor, but this, this is whole another level, 'cause I can play a little bit of Asturias, but this I can keep up only for few second A-C and E

I think that this piece requires learning from the scratch ... if you don't have sheets, start learning very slow... first basses than everything else, that is how I'm learning this right now... I'm flamenco player and this is especially hard for me

Indeed. Emre Sabuncuoglu might be the only person who has managed to play this piece without major mistakes, with a decent speed, recorded it and uploaded it on UA-cam. Even Kanengisers version is rather sloppy and we are talking about Grammy winning classical guitarist here. He's not a bad player by any means. The song is just incredibly hard.
I’ve just downloaded the sheet music for this, so thought I’d give some feedback for anyone else who’s interested: I was blown away by this performance and arrangement, and couldn’t resist buying it, although it will definitely push my limits (or more likely trample all over them) for several months to come. It was quick and easy to download, and the TAB notation and fingering suggestions are comprehensive; superior to many other sites I’ve tried (imho). There’s even a simplified version included, which may just prevent me throwing my guitar out of the window in times of stress! It comes in PDF format, so no restrictions on printing, enlarging etc. which some sites impose. Hope this is useful if you’re looking at this piece, or any other LAGA arrangement.

very nice right hand technique. I've been trying to incorporate my "a" finger more and started re learning this piece using more of a "m and a" alternation. hearing someone else play has been inspiring.
It's actually not hard at all if you give it a week of constant practice, took me about a day or two to get it down and I've only been playing for an year or so.
Total respect. This one is pretty far above my level but watching the video still inspires me to keep practicing it cause it shows me that it's possible

Some people cannot even do a barre chord on guitar.. please. The guitar is a harder instrument to master.

My God, that's beautiful. I've listened to the orchestral version all my adult life and never ventured to seek it transcribed for guitar. Bravisimo! Seeing this is EXACTLY why I quit playing guitar after 20+ years. No talent, no memory, no dexterity, etc.

very nice right hand technique. I've been trying to incorporate my "a" finger more and started re learning this piece using more of a "m and a" alternation. hearing someone else play has been inspiring.

It's actually not hard at all if you give it a week of constant practice, took me about a day or two to get it down and I've only been playing for an year or so.
