The second I realize episode 2 comes out I'm walking away from my job and going to enjoy one of the most anticipated animations of our time. EDIT: a word
Actual takes: 3:21 "Oh... what the hell are you doing here?" 3:32 "Hey now, nobody said I couldn't come visit!" 5:41 "You better give your head a shake there, bud." 6:15 "You've been told pert near a hundred times since you got discharged." (though it sounds like Matthew spliced this with the "you've been told" bit from 5:50) 7:04 "I'm sorry, I thought I heard you say something vaguely decipherable but I'm not sure." 7:31 "Says right there on the wall, only qualified pilots allowed on the premises." 7:44 "Qualified? Oh, let's hear it, Bill! What do these otherwise lovely ladies bring to the table that I don't?" 8:30 "How about depth perception?"
Unfortunately, that will never happen. Because "A Fox in Space" is based on Nintendo's Star Fox series. Nintendo would give a cease and desist. So, he can't make money off an IP that isn't his. A few years ago, Nintendo has already given him some flack for just using the name "Star Fox" in the title. So, Matthew changed the name to "A Fox in Space". There is another way to support this artist. By supporting him through Patreon. 🙂
@@CoolBeanSoup yeaah but he could always say you know "its based on it but its a separate thing" but then i again im a idiot who does not understand laws.
Love the work you guys are doing being a starfox fan there's not nearly enough content for this seemingly forgotten Nintendo franchise keep up the great work guys!
I love the fact that you put up the clips that show the final version of the lines being spoken at that moment in time It made it more clear of which version of the dialogue was chosen for the part and plus it felt a little surreal lol ... Also I love how it's just so chill to watch and listen to even though there's no music accompanying most of the video Fred is a rare example of a guy who gives off cool vibes and I wish there was more people like that.
I need to let you know that I appreciate these videos so, so much. I feel like every minute of insight into the creation process teaches me something tiny but important.
I love these sneak peeks, even if the release time between episodes is abysmally long, all these great material just screams of high production value. You guys are literally a 1-man-army studio. Total respect.
Addicted to those ting tongs though. Gonna need some of those! I was afraid you guys were gonna run out getting Bill's line. I don't think I could've done it without laughing
And so here we are now after the Episode has come out and I am so happy at all the time and production and development the project took just for another episode to get shipped out As a Fan of Star Fox, Please continue taking your time to make your art, we will all be waiting patiently
Holy SHIT that scene when they embrace is smooth! Really happy to see these short behind the scenes bits, and I'm really looking forward to when the episode is finished
This has always been my dream job. Look how much fun this is!!! I wish I could voice recording also but nobody knows I exist yet to do this. Keep up the great work! I love the shows!
Trust me, this stuff isn't nearly as fun as this makes it look like. It's repetitive monotonous work, especially when you are doing voiceovers for advertisements or for stuff that's less flavorful. Not all voice.directors are bundles of fun like seen here
Forgot about this video, and watching it now (especially during the pandemic) feels so neat. I know this is still a proper job you guys do but it just seems like a chill and fun afternoon in a recording booth. Also bless Matt, he seems fun to work with.
please kickstarter or patreon, i gotta see this thing in full man, such quality, genuine, passionate work. no one would feel bad donating for this, weve been waiting so long
Wait is that why this is so good? Because this loose, seemingly slapdash animation is actually intensely executed to perfection? I had no idea this much work went into it.
This is simply glorious, had I known voice acting involved Tim Bi--I mean, TIng Tongs, I'd have stayed in the performing arts. ...andgottensofat. Seriously though, the behind-the-scenes glimpses offer some fun insight into the creative process.
I'm really loving seeing (and hearing) what's happening behind the voice acting, this is splendid and making me wish I'd truly gone down the drama route.
It is insane how much production value A Fox In Space has.
They only cherry pick the finest frames and the most superb of sound for your viewing pleasure.
this is how you extend a budget
