- Pinup Swirl Vintage inspired hairstyle - barrel roll
Hey everyone! I received quite a bit of requests to make a tutorial on this hair style that I wear often. So...I FINALLY DID!! Let me just say that this is my first tutorial. Which is why the video has crappy editing and why I ramble a lot. When I get nervous I ramble. Sorry for being so serious as well. I'm normally not like that, but I was really nervous. I'll try and be bubbly next time :) Well anyway, I hope you all enjoy and find this video useful. I tried to explain it as best as I could. Feel free to post photos on my Facebook if you do end up trying it. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!

I know this is really late, but like 4 years ago when I was in cosmetology school I used this tutorial as practice for a competition (we were supposed to go off images) and I got 2nd place :)
Look how far you've come from then to now. I've been a fan since this video. You're my inspiration. So gorgeous. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You're welcome babe and thank you for watching! :)
I'm impressed. I'm a black male and I think that the main objective to styling hair is to simply spend tons of time being persistent to get your hair done. Persistence and patience makes growth.
that is the most perfect roll i have ever seen omfg!
It's always so cool seeing how far a UA-camr has come! I love this hairstyle ♡
finally at last someone on your tube you has proper hair up techniques
You actually don't ramble at all compared to other UA-cam girls. I really enjoy your videos. Please make more!!
I really like this tutorial, however it is hard to see what you are doing because it's so dark. Maybe sometime you could make another one in a brighter setting! Just a suggestion. Love the hair though. :)
What do you do to prevent your hair from damage? I mean, you do use a lot of heat daily, and then there goes this hairspray, and other things that really damages hair.. This is what keeps me from doing these hairstyles as often as I would love to!
The front looks like a beautiful rose when it's done. I love it!
The brand is Jilbere. I bought it at Sally's. I love that brand! Their products last forever! I've had that curler for years and it still works amazing!
And lord have mercy you have a perfect hairline :O
I saw the Chop Tops/pin up contest on Friday night and did this hair do. My hair looked 100 times better than the girls participating. Thanks for this tutorial. You're beautiful!
the fact you did all of this with those nails on makes it about twenty times more impressive.
@MsMonikitaCubaMex Yay thats good to hear!!! Youre welcome hun and thanks for watching!
Since my hair isn’t quite long enough to to a swirl to the side, I kind of do one that rolls toward the back of my head and swoop it off center a bit. Then, I just pull the rest of my hair back in a bun, spray it and lightly run a comb over it to give it a clean and slicked look. I really love this, though, and when my hair gets longer than it is then I’ll definitely try this because it looks wonderful!
Sooooo.... I have a medium lenght mohawk, and I've been looking for ages for a 'pin-up' style that I can do, to go to interviews, and be in a 'professional' atmosphere and not look to extreme, and this video gave me the perfect inspiration for that. Thank you so, so much!!!
Oh please don´t let anyone tell you this, you never have too much on your ribs for a beautiful Pin Up style. I´m not slim either, just do it, people will love it!
It might be a bit difficult because of the layers, but I'm sure it can be done :) The bangs you'll have to leave down and I've seen it with bangs down and it looks great ;)
