It's the quality of "educators" in the entire system, starting with grade school. I used to be against homeschooling, but without that or SOME private schools, we are definitely doomed!
They let anyone into college many years ago. Believe me it’s all profit driven these days. Critical thinking & civil discourse is a dying skill. There are some smart kids but I doubt they’re participating in this type of thing. They’re focusing on studies and getting an internship or good job lined up.

At least for k-8th and then I think teens should be sent for math and science either at a high school or a tutor (unless a parent has expertise in those subjects). The best students in my classes are ALWAYS the homeschooled kids!! They are always LIGHT-YEARS ahead of the other students. Not just in terms of knowledge, but also behavior and mindset. My homeschooled students are always the most thoughtful, hardest working, follow directions, put forth real effort, engage in critical thinking, participate in class, have high emotional IQ and just generally are super pleasant!!

The number of innocents they killed back then was just insane. Older people tend to support Israel because at a young age we witnessed how brutal Palestinians could be.
