30 min video and 3 mins of actually painting. I've heard painting is 90% preparation and 10% actual painting, so I guess this video confirms that.

You are correct. You'll only be painting a few minutes, the rest is sanding, masking, cutting tape/stencils, priming and doing spray test.

When I watch your videos, I always think you are an artist...I’ve painted my bike after watching your wonderful works: a matte blue color but I’ve used 4colors (white, black, light blue, dark blue) for the logos with a sticker as you do... so satisfied! Than I hydrodipped the stem, cranks and seatpost: every time I go around with my gravel I see many eyes watching my bike...and this only thanks to you!!!!you are a number one👍

Just made my boys watch this video as they're both wanting to strip and paint their own bikes. I did try to tell them the work involved in such undertaking, but were having none of it. They genuinely thought it would be a quick sand and spray, and hey presto awesome paint job... Thankfully your video has made them see sense. Now they're both convinced, that if a jobs worth doing, do it properly and don't cut corners. So thank you for a brilliant educational video, that has definitely inspired them. They would also like to know if you'd be interested in seeing their final results?

I'd really like to thank you Martin. I was really impressed with this video, and I chose to follow your tuto step by step on my Turbo Levo frame. The original paint was damaged. I have to say that I'm really happy with the result. I never used a spray can before. I can't share a picture in the comments, but the result is really nice to me. So, once again, many thanks to share your skills with us.

Wundert mich, warum bisher sonst keiner auf diese Idee kam, in den Anleitungen, die ich bisher gesehen habe.
Die Mattierung die durch die Scheuermilch entsteht ist mehr als ausreichend.

Or is it only certain ones? Also is the to wet sand between clear coats always needed either DIY OR PRO and why? Also can you make some DIY Videos on spraying custom components eg CRANKS, Stems, seat posts, hubs and fixing bolts for these pieces eg silver bolts to black or eg a black seatpost that is all scratched how to do a blended/ repair/ refurbished paint finish all at the same tim making sure to discuss how to make the end product paint as factory durable for the particular parts as the tend to cop the most abuse when riding! What a great guide and a great result - inspirational!
Can I ask, would there be any benefit from rubbing down between or after clear coat?
    Also
Is having the heat gun so close to the spraying paint hazardous? I'm assuming that needs extra care.
Great video - I'm tempted to do mine now (I'm sure everyone's thinking that!).
    Thanks.

cordial greeting, excellent work, I would like to know how much temperature can be used to dry the paint of a carbon fiber frame? Thank you and greetings from Colombia.

That was really good. Very encouraging and motivating. I appreciate way you did it with the most basic tools you could. A few details on drying times or any sanding down between layers would have been good (or did you not sand it?). Awesome.
