Thank you for the great conversation! Thank you for the subtitles, and furigana! I'm just beginning my Japanese language journey, and your channel is very very helpful. ^~^
There’s no one on UA-cam who talks about such interesting things in Japanese! I personally like these kinds of talks and discussions. One day I’ll try do it in Japanese confidently ✊🏻
Great Japanese INAKA setting! Ken san’s brother seems very kind and chill. His participation in this video is appreciated. I like his straw hat a lot. I kept thinking of the straw hats worn by gentlemen in French paintings: the guys in Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s “Boat Party”, the self portraits of Monet and Van Gogh wearing straw hats. Like you guys, they were enjoying the INAKA but the French one, “la campagne”.
ブラジルからよろしく🇧🇷\(・◡・)/ UA-cam didn't recommend me your latest videos for some reason so I have some catching up to do
Yeah, for some reason UA-cam doesn't seem to like my videos these days and they don't recommend my videos... But I am still ok because I can help you learn Japanese😊
I really like this and Ken-san's channel. I am beginning my Japanese language journey again and am finding these conversations, guy talk, quite useful. It was interesting where Yusuke pointed out that Ken was using honorifics when speaking with his brother. I'm guessing this was due to the use of 'arimasu yo' when offering tomatoes to his bro? Maybe I'm wrong. It was cool to hear the AI talk since this is an area of interest for me as well. The female talk keep starting and stopping so expanding on that would be interesting just to see your point of view on the subject. I think guys here in the US are bit more open, or too open, when talking about girls. Thanks for posting these videos.
Glad you enjoyed this video! < this was due to the use of 'arimasu yo' when offering tomatoes to his bro? Maybe I'm wrong. You are right. Normally, we Japanese use "Informal talk" for family members. But he was speaking to his brother in an unnaturally polite manner, so I pointed out.
i'm not a japnese native myself so i can't judge your translation level, that being said 90% of the time your english subtitles are correct so don't stress to much about it
The videos are really helpful. Thank you very much for the effort you put in making these videos. Just one request if that's alright. Can you also add Japanese subtitles to UA-cam (i.e) as UA-cam captions? It'll help us to extract UA-cam subtitles as transcripts and audio too and we can read, hear and save them in SRS tools such as Anki or use in language learning tools such as Voracious. Right now, I can see the transcripts on the screen and also in the video description. However it would very useful if we can get it in SRT format.
I can understand a lot of spoken japanese but I can't make sense of the kanji most of the time. Would you recommend any useful tips on how to improve my kanji recognition and comprehension skills? Thanks for this video , it was really helpful. Really appreciate your content, Yusuke - San.
Japanese children write a lot of kanji to memorize them in elementary school. They learn more by writing than by just reading. It would also be good to communicate with Japanese people in Japanese via E-mail or SNS. Because you need to encounter many kanji many times. [ 漢字の理解を深められるサイト ] nihongodera.com/ I wish you success in your Japanese learning.
Just out of curiosity, are you both gentlemen living close by in the same city? Both your videos and Ken San’s videos are very useful for Japanese language learners like myself.
No. He lives in Aichi prefecture and I live in Chiba prefecture. It's about 400 km(250 miles) from my house to his house. By the way, he is now in Taipei, Taiwan, where his girlfriend is😊
Hi, Matteo-san! Thanks😊 Language learning, not just Japanese, listening with your full understanding of basic grammar is important. There will be parts you do not understand even after listening so read them in writing. Repetition of that is also important. When it comes to learning Japanese, it is important to understand kanji used in everyday life. It is enough to be able to read them. Of course it is better to be able to write, but even if you can't, it is not a big problem. I wish you success in your Japanese learning🙏
