Hey bro! this is one of my favourite albums from In flames. i usually dont watch reaction type videos. but somehow i cant get enough of your reaction from this album. you really really seem so fucking hyped and into it. i love it. i have probably watched you react to this album maybe 10 times or something like that....i think your vibe makes me feel not alone / lonely, ...if that makes sense. "fun" fact. i live about 30 min away from the cirty in flames were created. ..sadly i have never seen them live. Much love from a swede!

Trigger was one of the first songs I heard when I was in like 5th grade and started getting into metal. That shit blew my mind.

In Flames is one of my favorite bands without a doubt. But then I’m also a Swede living in Gothenburg where they come from. Glad you like it!

When you get a chance you should check out In Flames follow up album, Soundtrack to Your Escape and the follow up to that one, Come Clarity. My favourite albums by In Flames though I love all of their work.

For the Korn comparison, funnily enough, Anders got his dreadlocks look during this album to look like Jonathan Davis, so your observation is on-point and is intentional.
They wanted to be the Nu-Metal band of Sweden so badly that they even have a "[LINK]IN FLAMES" shirt. You can go check out their other albums like Come Clarity and Sounds of a Playground Fading.

In reference to you question about the sounds in System. They are keyboards. Most metal bands from Scandinavia have keyboardists. Keys are a part of what gives melodic death metal it's unique sound. The keys usually stay far back in the mix so if you are not used to the sound, it's hard to pick up on the mix.

By now I know what kind of things you like in music, so I recommend ''Holographic Universe'' from Scar Symmetry from the album Holographic Universe. If you like the first song, you will have your mind blown by the full album. EVERYONE loves that album because it's a masterpiece.
