the plane fight scene gave me major "Shoot'em Up" vibes, Jason protecting baby Dom while killing bad guys was badass on all levels especially on a plane
I understand WHY he was named Brian, but my re-edit of the movie has his name changed to Vince. In honour of Dominic's deceased best friend, who he's known since the third grade. Instead of a living friend he's only known for a few years.
@@ChrisReise As touching of a tribute as it is, within the universe/continuity of the movies it makes zero sense. Despite Paul Walker being gone, Brian is alive & well. Why would Dom name his son after Brian, when he legit has friends like Vince who have died? While they would've had to present the baby's name in a different way (not as a reveal, like it is in the movie), I think it would've been fine for them to name his son Paul.
Easily one of my favorite of the franchise. Every action scene looks cool af. Jason statham on our team and the villain Charlize is so good. Love everything about this
F7 gave us so much and we all wondered what to expect from The Fate of The Furious aka F8. I liked that was more of an unpredictable story. You never would have guessed, that family would be broken. Dom's betrayal, Hobbs leading Dom's crew against him, bringing Deckard Shaw into the mix and facing off against a new, formidable villain Cypher (Theron on point) was complete mayhem. The action, humor, suspense and the biggest piece of the story being "Dom's a Father" blew me away. To reinterate on the action, these stunts and sequences were among the best ever made. Bump the disbelief or overkill of it all, this was all worth the price of admission. Btw,, Vin Diesel is a native New Yorker and filming scenes in his hometown while his mom was on location really made his day. The director F. Gary Gray made Friday (1995), Set It Off (1996), The Negotiator (1998) and Straight Outta Compton (2015). In 2003, he first directed Diesel in "A Man Apart", also directed Charlize Theron & Jason Statham in the 2003 remake of "The Italian Job". F8 was the biggest film that he had made in terms of budget and scale. Diesel & Johnson's partnership started to fall out during the making of F8. Surprisingly, It was more of a professional beef than a personal one. They rarely appeared on screen together because of that. Johnson & Statham get more screen time together in this one and it was a good build for the upcoming Hobbs & Shaw spinoff. Just like y'all said, these movies do whatever they want and how can you not love that?
This is by far the most entertaining reaction to a Fast and the Furious video I’ve ever seen. Also take a shot every time Steph says “That’s your wife!” Lmao
This movie did have major bumps in the road for the franchise. It put in a submarine since these movies are basically Marvel movies now, there are no scenes with Dom and Hobbs together because of major tension between Vin Diesel and the Rock, and of course not to mention the fact that this movie really overestimates how much you remember from the previous 3 movies. By the time they mentioned Owen Shaw, I was like “Oh yeah, Deckard had a brother”, since I barely even remember him. At least one thing stood out for this movie. The Rock and Jason Statham had the best prison scene ever.
Stathom is one of the fiersist, fighting in his own movies doing all his own scenes, the way he works out man is like a Japanese ninja assassin like the ones who ran with ra a ghoul shocking spelling I know, maybe check out his mechanic movies and the other cool ones he did
The girl created God's eye, she designed and built the coding so apparently she's the only one who can recode the system to do the new shitt they want it to do. Tege helped come up with the idea but he's not a code programmer on her level. Otherwise somebody else would have built another God's eye by now if it could be built by just any smart hacker/ person.
So did you girls recognize the guy with the beard that works for Cyfer??? He plays Tormund Giantsbane in Game of Thrones. Which makes two actors from Game of Thrones in a Vin Diesel movie (that I know of off hand). The other is Rory McCann who plays The Hound. He is also in XXX: The Return of Xander Cage. And as a final Fun Facts: Riddick 4 Furya should have begun production as of now and COULD be coming out sometime in 2025.
Paul Walker's absence is really felt in this one. If anybody should have been out to find Dom and figure out why he turned on everyone it would have been Brian. If there was ever a reason to get him out of retirement it would have been Dom's heel turn. I get they don't want to kill off the character out of respect but the story is starting to not make sense if that character is supposed to still exist. There's enough dumb action to keep your mind off of it , but if you think about it for even a second the plot falls apart.
The Fast and the Furious films get a lot of shit, for the corny dialogue, the over the top ridiculous plots and the unrestrained machismo, but goddamn they are entertaining, the ingenuity with car action pieces, the transition from car thieves and road races to heists and spy-type work has been very well done and there aren’t many films out there with as diverse a cast.
i had a crush on Michelle Rodriguez since girl fight. her first movie. i actually got to meet her when Fast And furious 1 was releasing. shes really cool af. and yes a bad ass for real
The Fast and The Furious 2 Fast 2 Furious The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift Fast & Furious Fast Five Furious 6 Furious Seven The Fate of The Furious Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw F9 Fast X Fast X: Part 2
I can’t wait for y’all to see 9 & 10!!!! Hopefully it won’t take too long. I enjoy the franchise more once other films started to come out because how everything interacts with the other films. Certain characters have closer
For years I’ve said I wished they would’ve named his son Paul instead of Brian. To me I thought that would’ve been a better salute to his passing. Also, I wished one of PW brothers would’ve taken his place if they were going to keep the Brian O’Conner character alive. It just doesn’t make sense for that character to be absent in these films but Mia shows up because “Brian is watching the kids” or the team is not gonna call him b/c “He’s out of the game” but Mia isn’t??? I just find it really hard to believe Brian would just stay away and not get involved.
@@V.i.c.o.d.y.n It's kinda weird tho for Dom to name his son after Brian. Brian is alive and well. Hell, Dom has a best friend who effing died in F5: Vince. Why not name his baby after him? But then again to weirdly argue against myself: Vince named his own son after Dom. But they at least established that Dom & Vince had been friends since the 3rd grade or younger. While Brian & Dom are effectively brothers-in-law, their on-screen dynamic never really screamed to me that they were *that* close, other than being friendly rivals. Dom referring to Brian as a "brother" at the end of F7 really was more Vin Diesel talking to Paul Walker, than the characters interacting as such.
Since the holiday season is approaching, PLEASE react to The Preacher's Wife (1996), Soul Food (1997), Last Holiday (2006), The Perfect Holiday (2007), This Christmas (2007), and Almost Christmas (2016). You won't regret it!

I strangely agree and disagree 😅 Theron is actually ruining the movie for me. She's amazing actress but not here. Should've cast another person + the whole betrayal just for the baby without him saying anyting to the familia...jeez, anyway 😅
If you liked the relationship between Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham in this film, then you're gonna love Hobbs and Shaw. And I know you're both are gonna love part 9 too, even though DJ and JS are not in it! (Though it does have John Cena in it.)
He turned on Family, for Family. Truly a Family man.
Type shit
Now, watch Hobbs & Shaw before Fast 9.
I thought was the worst on the franchise but it was funny..Idris Elbas character is too ridiculous

This is where the beef between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson started to escalate, causing Dwayne not wanting to act with Vin
It's also the movie, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham all signed contracts that they couldn't lose fights. LMAO!

Hobbs and Shaw is next with four post credits, then F9 with one post credits and after that is Fast X with one post credits.
Paul Walker would love that Dominic Toretto name is son Brian after him.

Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel are playing the longest relationship in the movie's history.
