I saw Cosmo perform this song recently. Before starting he said 'my friend Anndreyah from Canada came over one time and we made this song. Normally she sings this bit, but in her absence I'll do my best' so I guess she's a Canadian musician of some description... Hope that helps

I like it and I'm a vegan, so long as the cow wasn't killed for that purpose and the butcher wasn't paid for it I don't mind terribly. Certainly a bit disconcerting and unpleasant to think about but the song really slaps... in a sense.
