The Xiaomi Mix Flip has just launched in China, and it bests both the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra and Samsung with its huge 4.01” cover screen, massive 4780mAh battery with 67W fast charging, a dual Leica camera system and seriously impressive design.

2:02 That full size cover screen is such a bold and perfect step to take, and I applaud Xiaomi for taking it. The battery capacity is surprisingly huge for a flip phone. How did Xiaomi manage to pack such massive battery capacity in a flip phone. The huge battery size and the full size cover screen is sufficient for me to buy this flip phone. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾 How much nits brightness for the cover screen? Did I hear 3000nits? If it is real then this is surprisingly huge and ideal.
I am still happy with my last year released Oppo N3 Flip with some pros:
1. Global version with full Google features
2. 3 cameras configuration and powered by Hasselblad with distinctive pictures quality
3. Large battery compared with Samsung supported by Vooc 33 watts charge
4. Unique cover screen with perfect ratio that supports almost all applications, feels like having 2 phones in one device.
5. Long software and security support promised until 4years.
But you can't use all the apps on the cover screen. It's the only problem I have with my N2 (didn't upgrade to n3 for this only reason). For now Motorola V50+ seems to be the only one with full integration of apps on both screen. If this will support them too, it's the perfect choice. Otherwise v50+

2x telephoto is kinda useless these days. Main camera sensors having higher megapixel count and good software can be just as good. Wish they did at least a 5x or ultrawide instead

Was looking forward for this flip. But missing Waterres IP and no wireless charging kills it for me. So RAZR 50 Ultra seems my only option as a flip with a big cover screen...
Moved from my mimix3 to OppoN2 waiting for something like this. Only problem is: Will all the apps work on the external screen? It's the only problem with the N2. If they don't, Motorola RAZR 50+ is a better choice
Tested yesterday and UA-cam, X and many other apps are optimised flawlessly. The crease is noticeable tough

i wished there's a phone of that cover screen size like this so minimalist and compact good for secondary phone
So far this has been an incredibly exciting year for mobile phones and flip phones in particular, but this Xiaomi Mix Flip is definitely high on my list of "want to haves"… I've usually been more into Nothing Phones and the likes and kept my distance from Samsung's flip phone because I'm not a huge fan of their eco system, but it would be really réally great if this Xiaomi Mix Flip would hit the Dutch market.
If you are interested in doing a more in depth review, would you mind doing a little comparison on both these cameras compared to a flagship phone perhaps? Like a Pixel 9, Samsung S24 or iPhone 16? I'm pretty sure the ±20% bigger battery compared to other flip phones will put it ahead of the pack in that regard, but the camera setup on this thing looks like a match made in heaven.
I was almost certain I'd get the Razr until I saw this one. If this doesn't come to Europe is there any trustworthy site to get it from?

Hope this gets released globally as puts other flips to shame BUT.....yes and there is a but it is not dust or water resistant at all so if you drop it in water kiss goodbye to your mix flip. This is what Samsung should of done with there front cover screen and cameras but Xiaomi should of made the camera islands on the front a little smaller and obviously the big question is updates as Samsung for the z flip 6 give 7 years of updates. Love the fact there is an enormous 4700mah battery inside this thing brilliant and again instead of the 3700mah in z flip 5 and now 4000mah in flip 6, just proves Samsung making the smallest changes possible with there phones as the tech is there to squeeze in a huge battery for flips they just do this for upgrades and do the tiniest bump up....looking at you Samsung or a money making racket but lovely phone though!!

What I felt while using the Motorola Razr 40, Samsung Flip 5, and Fold 6 is that if you plan to open it and use it often, don't buy the Flip.

Hoping for a global version. It's launching in HK which is a good sign, so probably yes, to answer your question. Definitely through an importer like Trinity for the time being.

Chinese models tend not to, we'll have to wait for the global launch. The Xiaomi 14 does, while the 14 Ultra doesn't, so I wouldn't want to assume anything. Hope that helps! Basil

Diagonal - yes. The Razr has a 22:9 aspect ratio, so that gives it a slightly smaller surface area than the Mix Fold with its 21.4:9 aspect ratio - 107.6 vs 109.8. They're both excellent and comfortable to use. Cheers for the comment! Basil
