I love Adam and Yvonne and I'm not criticizing the decision by any means, but I just wanted to say Luke is one of the people I'm most interested in what they would buy and seeing their new set up tbh. I love the wacky ones like Denniss's choices as well but I still find the more technical people's choices more interesting in general but also specifically Luke's choices. But it's just personal taste.
You should do an “Impractical Jokers” prequel before one of the upgrades. Don’t tell the person getting the upgrade that they are getting pranked, but let them order everything. Then when you film, give Linus an ear piece and have Luke, Jake and James feeding him stupid things to do, dropping pieces, breaking stuff, stuff showing up in the wrong color, etc. End on a “I think we better try again tomorrow” and make the second video the actual upgrade
6900 canadian dollars is *nice*, and not just for the viewer, but also for the upgrader, they'll be getting 168 dollars USD more when converting 6.9K CAN to USD.
My 5k dream set up would involve a squat rack. I have been trying to incorporate mini workouts through out the day. Every hour doing reps of some exercise. So far is 10 deadlifts every hour.
Speaking of the popularity of Scrapyard Wars, with the expanded 'cast' of LTT, you guys should have a new season where it's played in the style of fantasy football - Linus and Luke draft teams of 2 or 3 from their employees, and have them compete in their place? And then Luke and Linus take on the 'guy-in-the-chair'/mission control role by giving advice or helping with builds without assisting with procurement. And it would be interesting to make it so that their draft picks can't be picked again for the season, so they might have to pull in less and less tech literate staff as the season continues.
I'm mostly thankful that we get to know Clarence a lot more before he left. When I saw his picture on LMG website I thought he was nothing more than a friendly looking middle-aged man. After I saw the episode I wished he was my neighbor.

13:38 Literally my exact setup, accidentally ordered a case that was too small, (and the power supply didnt have a 6 pin) so I just grabbed my old PSU and got a riser to attach my graphics card to the outside of my computer
WOW glad that amd's going to pick up something similar with y'all because i didn't just watch the intel extreme tech upgrades, i rewatched them as well. y'all got at least 5 extra views on EACH of those from me alone.
All of the Intel Extreme Tech Upgrades were a really fun way to look into each employee’s personality and interests, I loved every single one
All the past tech upgrades were fantastic, looking forward to more on the way!
I would love to see a new scrap yard wars that that's literally just Luke Vs Alex they are both soo creative and janky that it would be amazing lol
I never laughed more than intel extreme tech update from Dennis
I remember watching the videos you made in the house with piles of stuff just everywhere. I think I've been watching for a decade already, which is equally as wild to me, both how long I've been a viewer and how large LMG has grown.
I'm so pumped to see Yvonne get her upgrade!! The real OGs know she's the reason this channel still exists. 😂
tech upgrade series was so entertaining and i also get an idea for my set-up (if one day i ever have the budget) it's such a win-win situation for advertiser, creator and viewers.
For the naming scheme, I'm sure the writing team can do something with ATI, which is what Radeon used to be.
Something like "AMD Tech Implosion" or "inspiration" or some other buzzword that starts with "I".
Yes!
I like how they talk about the business side of making videos and running a company. It gives us info on what they are dealing with and how they make content. Keep it up!!!
Dennis had the best tech upgrade. Sarah trolling Linus with Starbucks was also epic.
Love this series, so I am super glad that it is continuing on. I agree with Luke, I don't think any that I watched weren't brilliant.
Cannot wait to see what Dan does with his upgrade. He strikes me as a super clever spender.
This is so sad. Extreme tech upgrade was one of my favorite series on UA-cam.
don't worry itll continue with AMD
Can’t believe Intel dropped this one. It’s such an incredible series. Looking forward to the new version.
Luke hit the nail on the head, Scrapyard Wars and IXTU are the 2 segments that I've been the most invested in over the years. They're ALWAYS such good videos. Cant wait to see this new series
Sadge, I loved these videos, they gave you an insight into the staff's personality and preferences. Also some cool tech and great moment, I'll never forget the Live Laugh Liao.
I mean these videos are gonna keep coming, only the sponsor changed.
Can’t wait for the first UTU!
$5000 USD is actually almost exactly $6900 CAD, which is just great.
Dennis' one is actually one of the best LTT videos ever.
Honestly probably my favorite series’s you guys have done
As a longtime member of Team Red, this makes me very happy.
Looking forward to seeing a 7950X3D/7950XTX build to prepare for my own!
Extreme tech upgrade videos are what bring me to watch LTT medias. They are entry videos for me to those channels and also influence me to have a pc dream in future. They're so entertaining to watch especially how every members troll Linus in their own way.
Linus finding the stolen stuff is my favorite
@16:00 that's not only a threadripper bug, it's a general ryzen bug. My Ryzen 1600 will lock up in the same manner when idle. Have to have C states all disabled for it to remain stable.
Really, really sad to hear this. Seeing other LMG team members and seeing cool tech was my favorite content aside from vlog content. Easily one of my favorite series you've done.
EDIT: YES IT IS COMING BACK WITH AMD YESSSSS
Edit 2: YES YVONNE UPGRADE!!!
It would be awesome if like 5th,10th etc. episode would be audience Upgrade just to compare what you select and what "normals" select :)
AMD sponsored
Awesome
Tech
Improvement
I have a few ATI cards laying around!
Going to miss those. I just want to watch you guys goofing around and talk nerdy.
Intel extreme upgrade was one of my fave segments. I remember when it started though and AMD were making the best cpus at the time! Tell you what I'm going to do for you Linus! I'm going to have an Intel extreme tech upgrade marathon and watch them all again!
I already knew it was AMD. AMD do would salivate at the chance to smack Intel in the face and say "WE DID IT AND YOU DIDN'T HAHAHHA" and I love that
The reason Luke hasn’t done extreme tech upgrade - he’s got a lot of stolen office equipment at home 😂
Intel! that was one of my favorite videos they did. Maybe AMD will step up.
I typed this before he announced AMD
it’s a great series indeed. Glad to see it can continue with a 'version 2’.
5:40 nothing in the whole sponsored series will top the $400 "Live, Laugh, Liao" sign in that video
I've rewatched the Intel Extreme Tech Upgrade videos multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed each one. Thank you for making them
Intel extreme upgrade was my favorite series on LTT I watched every single one
You should do an “Impractical Jokers” prequel before one of the upgrades. Don’t tell the person getting the upgrade that they are getting pranked, but let them order everything. Then when you film, give Linus an ear piece and have Luke, Jake and James feeding him stupid things to do, dropping pieces, breaking stuff, stuff showing up in the wrong color, etc. End on a “I think we better try again tomorrow” and make the second video the actual upgrade
I know it may come as a shock (sarcasm),
but I am a HUGE fan of the new deal!
I know it was intentional but as fast as possible being AFAP is actually funny
you know you really should've gone with a better name like AMD Hyper Tech Evolution or AMD Tech upgrade Masterclass or something
5:24 had me on the floor, luke youve done it again XD
Tynan's upgrade is one of my favorites. I learned about electricity and got to see a miniature sun inside a computer.
6900 canadian dollars is *nice*, and not just for the viewer, but also for the upgrader, they'll be getting 168 dollars USD more when converting 6.9K CAN to USD.
Yeah, but when you consider inflation, it's going to buy you a bit less.
The thing i loved about the tech upgrade thing was learning who was all the people behind the camera.
Ooo those mic arms are back I want one love how they keep on changing it up
The best ETU was easily Dennis', with his Live Laugh Liao sign
Intel extreme tech upgrade is why I bought a 10600KF and z490i board.
I'm mostly thankful that we get to know Clarence a lot more before he left. When I saw his picture on LMG website I thought he was nothing more than a friendly looking middle-aged man. After I saw the episode I wished he was my neighbor.
Linus part about how people spend the 5000 is what I like about tech upgrades. Seeing what other stuff they upgrade with the set up r if they just upgrade their set up is what was interesting
