Man, this has to be my favorite 3D printing channel next to Aurora tech channel. Brian always gives fun detailed videos and Aurora's are so tech savvy. It brings it to the eye. You both for the great videos
Brian can you do a video on what USB adapters and SD cards you use and how we set up everything to get ready to print our first thing and to get it off the plate. THANKS BRIAN.
I made one for my Granddaughter some months back and made a die and painted one side the colour and then another as a bonus colour so you can pick whatever you want. Not at all the idea you had well done makes a great gift for the upcoming holidays.
So cool man! I am gonna have to print one to take over to play at Christmas at my parents house and hope we don't get "tipsy" ok, ok, I will let the dad jokes to you.
Super cool idea Brian. One suggestion I have is to also 3D print the D6 die, and make it so each side of the die just shows one of the tetris shapes, and maybe mini size of all shapes on one side of the die for the wild. It just feels better to say that all pieces needed to play the game are 3D printed! N/m I see you posted SamMs stoli dice model! It's exactly what I was thinking!
This is brilliant; simple yet elegant. My son has also been creative in using the pieces to make art (for example a Christmas tree). Need to find matching dice. ;)
Great video, already printed a version and it's fun. I'm working on a variation of the dice to picking the piece. I have the Bambu x1 with an AMS, so I've been doing some lithophanes. I'm cadding up a "lithophane spinner" where each panel is a lithophane of the piece. You put a bulb in the middle, then spin to select your piece. Need to figure out the detent mechanism. Meantime, I came up with a variation that doesn't use dice or luck: Each player starts with three of each shape. Winner is the first person to use all their shapes (or if the other player topples the pile). Each turn, you can pick whatever remaining piece you have to place, OR you can trade ONE of your remaining shapes for TWO of whatever shape you would like from the draw pile.
I started printing this right before you posted your video, haha. Almost finished printing. I did also print the remixed dice that has the tetrominos instead of numbers.
Great video and thanks so much for sharing with the community! I love your work, you have such a kind and comforting disposition while still being engaging and it's just incredible!
Great video Bryan. Quick question. Since you’re printing this using a bambu lab printer, was there a reason you uploaded it to printables instead of makerworld?
Yep, Tetris's shapes are called Tetrominoes. They're a subset of shapes known as polyominoes. Tetracubes are Tetrominoes extruded up by one cube. The S/Z, and J/L are the same tetracube; just flip them. 😁
@@BV3D I feel like an idiot sometimes, I replied almost as soon as you started talking lol. Great videos btw, I'm for sure going to download this, maybe even design a box for it.
Bryan is awesome at taking an offhand comment and turning it into something amazing

Thanks BV3D.
Dude! I just saw this very same ad and thought the VERY SAME THING! hahahaha
I think there are at least a dozen companies advertising some version of it. 😁
That last tip is the best one of the video ;)
Bryan, this is incredible! You are a creative inspiration, and you're going to help my family vacations be even more fun!

Love it, great attention to detail. Thanks for sharing.

I hadn't considered that, but it's pretty funny! 😂

Sure thing! I thought it was great! I printed it out while I was at work. I'll post a make on your Printables model in a bit!

I’m ordering my P1s this week and this is totally going on the list of printables this week!
Great idea Bryan!!! Keep them coming.
Love it, Bryan! Printing now!!!!
Perfect for Christmas!
I think so too! 🎄
This looks amazing! Both Jenga and Suspend are popular in the house, and it doesn't seem to take much space either ^__^ Thanks for the tip!
This was neat! I'll print some of these for christmas!
Very nice Bryan.

I've got some momentum going on Printables with the Prusameters. I'll add it to MakerWorld before too long, and I'll include the print files as well.
wheres the Z???
also, in tetris they are called tetrimino
