Very respectable of you trying to dump that truck on someone for $165k knowing it had a bad engine!
It’s so fucked up it’s not even funny.. Knowing god damn well that truck had problems and still listed it for that fucking much. it literally runs fire through my veins because I’ve been done that way twice now.
If he’s proven one thing in all the years on UA-cam. Don’t have him or his people touch your truck nor buy one of his trucks 😂😂😂
Let’s see your work Brandon 😅
It's just him ruining these trucks with his crap tuning is all it is. The mechanics are good he's just tuning the engines way to far because he likes black smoke and as much power as he can get.
I never got the black smoke thing.. I've had diesel pickup trucks that were tuned and never blue black smoke at least not the way his due and I never had problems with them
Tim I'm a truck mechanic by trade and an owner operater I will tell you keep the older trucks, more reliable and no emissions to deal with. Detroit s60 is in my truck
Yessir i also run 60 series
Yep. 12.7 Detroit set at 600 horse. Runs beautifully and getting 6.9 mpg lifetime pulling a reefer out west.
470 s60 they will run forever
Bro, you need to outsource your major motor work because your shop is failing you tremendously it seems like there's major work done but never last very long.
Love what you do Tim, but Damn, you gotta get that shop organized and cleaned up! Fire Haard all the way!!!!
Tim, I see the way you hot dog all your trucks you drive not putting you down or anything but you’re pretty rough
I used to run those hills with no Jake’s. No burning brakes either.
Just knowing what gear to run in.
I see a "GO FUND ME " IN the works,
I run a series 60 500hp as well. Last time my engine leaked oil like that was when the front cover cracked. Still believe that Detroit is the best engine for me. Hope all goes well with the rebuild.
All the blown motors have one thing in common
Timmy tunes seem to be the common denominator!
Looney tunes that cut engine life.
My Man U have had o hole in that trailer for 2 months just replace a couple boards if u don’t have the jingle to replace them all .. Besides that keep on keeping on
Definitely gets the dirty windshield award!!!!
Another great video Tim...Glad your busy... Hope you get Bonnie back on the road soon.....Stay safe
You blowing up the trucks keeps your boys busy😂😂🤣🤣
whiskey bent didn’t it have a new motor put in it not long ago and wasn’t Bonnie for sale someone dodge a bullet not buying it good to see you sell reliable gear
Not a good look. I have a feeling he knew he was going to run into these problems with Bonnie hense ting to sell
Divorce will bring a man to his knees!!
love is Grand, Divorce is a Hundred Grand... but we don't know that's happening.. We can assume as much from the video content or lack there of... Momma Gentry or the other kids or the Doodle dogs that were always in video's before are NEVER seen anymore.. but we are only making assumptions .. Hope thats not the case for the kid's sake.. Kids need Both parents in life..
Maybe the way there is some weird half brother stuff maybe he is taking after his dad and trifling

@@hahatrucking unless you can prove that statement you should be ashamed to make it.. let the poor kids out of it.. why state things you're not sure of?
@@scottcochran384 Because he wont update anyone on what is going on and keeps giving us half ass responses
Tim, there’s always some nonsensical cowboy out there that wants to run down the mountain and high gear. You can only run down the mountain too fast one time and then it’s pretty much over.👍👍👍
I’m really surprised they didn’t make him tarp this load. You can get a pretty good idea of what these are just looking through the plastic if you know what you’re looking at.
i heard them Fitzgerald motor where the worse they didn’t know what they where doing
What’s heavy in that load 2 3 ton forklifts lifting it off wow the plastic wrapping must be so heavy 😂😂
I was thinking the exact same thing if that was a heavy load those forklifts wouldn't be able to pick that up. I drive those all day
A nice headache rack for storage will also help protect the back of the cab from flying rocks
Keep on trucking , don't let no one tell you what to do . Big up from the island, jamaica
Yeah, the ones that says that doesn’t have any loads to pull so their trucks don’t run to get broke down you’re exactly right
Tim, you, your dad ,anybody who owns a truck can tell you, if you aren't in it your under it ! A working truck always has to have something done to it. If your lucky it might only need some grease here and there. But if you own it the maintaining it never stops !!
Good to see ya'll wearing those seatbelts !!
What's up my brother glad you're back
What happened to all the videos u were dumping on us last week?
I can't believe we got two videos in less than 8 days
@@Jm-is9ig lol right
Need to do a video on all your new equipment prayers for you and your family hope all is well ✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😎
Evening all, from UK 🇬🇧
00.20hrs
That is actually pretty good mpg for a semi truck 🚛. 🙂
Hi Tim Gentry and Sons and family
I know trucks break down .but seems they have a lot break downs wish the best
Do what you have to do. Don't listen to people that don't know your business love your videos
I enjoy the videos but why does it seem like there are always motors going down in those trucks.
Is this video been made from the live video the other day?
Thought that myself when I was thinking he did 2 in a week!
So glad your back on UA-cam timmy please keep the content coming 👍
Gentry &Sons is a JOKE their trucks stay in the shop more than they stay on the road Maybe Timmy needs to stop trying to be a mechanic and putting them stupid tunes in the trucks
Keep on keepin on Tim. When you put yourself out there you know the haters/keyboard warriors will seek out people they are jealous of. Most of the negative comments most likely never held a steering wheel or a wrench let alone try to keep a family business runnig & keeping others employed and happy. I personally enjoy most of the content. If I don't like I have the ability to turn it off.
What’s up brother how family doing ❤ keep up the good work I love your videos and I am a big fan of yours
Glad the Bonnie trucks lower end is good and whiskey will soon to be back on the cows. Keep On Trucking...
Tim, you have great drivers, and mechanics, don't let those "negative" people get to you. New or old, a truck will break down and will need repair or replace defective parts.
hi tim y'all are doing a fantastic job keeping you're trucks on the road and you are doing a wonderful job teaching brax the ropes on how to operate the big rig thank you for sharing your great videos happy trucking safe travels
Old trucks make the same money as new trucks. As for tune ups if its rated to 550 and you tune up to that it’s fine. I don’t see a problem with it. It’s engine brakes that put pressure on them. If its 550 up hill it wants to only 70% of that down hill on the engine brake. I look after a truck and built the engine C16 to take 750 horsepower i set it at 680 the day i put it back in the truck T909 Kenworth. It’s been pulling b-double carting logs 68t gross on steep bush roads for the last 3 years. It’s done 500,000km no issue at all. Some of the pulls it gets are as low as .3km per litre and that is steep and hard. But most of the time he gets between 2.3 and 2.5. So dont listen to them Timmy if it’s done right it’s not a problem as you know.
Cheers mate from a Australia mate ya best come have a steere here 1 day.
That’s that Brice guy that don’t know how to drive he tore that truck up on that run Tim sent him on 😂😂
Are you telling me he blew up his truck and then went home? Sounds disgruntled..
God I love the sound of Detroits the one truck at my fire house is an 03 with a 6v92 I love driving and riding in it
Whats up tim , shift happens . Keep em turnin .
If you still hauling boats take a look into onslow bay boats in onslow county nc..they make those big million dollar fishing boats
Tim has some of the best mechanics in the nation his dad is an amazing diesel mechanic!!! If you're working your semi and you're not having any problems your not on this planet believe that!!!!! Keep up the am work Gentry crew
Well we haven't seen much work just breakdown after each blown up head or motor.
@@robertlawler1387 and who are you? You work there no you don't so you don't know jack
Use the phone mount or dash cam. Holding phone foe any reason will get into some deep fcsa scores issues and insurance issues.
I have an 2005 mack granite triaxle dump with 475k miles never ever ever been in the motor and I'm pulling 70k all day every day say what you want but it's way harder on a dump truck working tha, an tractor working never been in the engine or the transmission or the rears!!!!!! It's all about maintenance and good driving!!!!!! And running a good product It's not the fastest or the best looking but buddy it gets the job done 😊 them Detroits you keep saying is the best engines in the world well either Detroits are completely junk or every one you touch blows up or has problems so you better figure something out or hire a Detroit mechanic im out
You were never in!🥅⚽
Do a live so we can see what's going on.Miss you and your family
His lives suck he can't get good internet service to do a clear live nor can he stop connecting his crap Bluetooth mic where we can hear anything
His wife left him so we wont be seeing that part of the family
@@JustinBurton-tz9kn still isn't confirmation on that but it is kind of clear that it did happen.
@@JASONH01 Sudden move from the shop noticed how the gentery and sons name suddenly vanished from the trucks yeah pretty cut and dry
Great job brother yall take care be safe 🙏
I live in Charlotte, NC
and that would be outstanding to be able to meet you and Braxton!
Jack rabbiting those heavy loads is not easy on a truck either. I know it’s fun as hll. Lots of serious pressure going on.
Bonny is the best looking truck in your fleet. Rooster 🐓 is a close second! But Bonny’s my girl!!!
I agree with you
Enjoyed your video thanx.
That was a awesome video nice to see your back hope you all have a blessed night 👍 🙏 ❤
U can tell the difference between a driver and wheel holder .by the way u came down the mtn. Later
He sounded a little jealous of that other driver how many times did he say that he smelt his brakes? Just because he passed him and stayed within his Lanes. 😂😂 It's okay to me you don't have to be the best driver in the world
Just put your computer on it and give it one of your tune jobs
Love watching you. I have to tell you that…this mountain is OLD FORT MOUNTAIN. Black Mountain was the town you had just drove through. My hometown
been watching gentry since 50k love your channel brother!
Great example of a steering wheel holder vs a truck driver
Tell me leave that old trucker cowboy alone he knows what he's doing down that Hill. Don't be a hater😂😂😂
That'll be awesome putting dimpled pistons in that block! Curious as to what the fuel mileage will be!
Must rather run up the mountain than desend a mountain.
Hello from Siesta Key Florida
Old boys drums are heat checked and blue.
I took my CDL training up and down Blacks mountain in SC out of Spartanburg
Good ole le blue in advance nc. Hauling 3 loads down there next aswell flat bed low miles high pay 😀
Keep it coming from Phill and Sarah Parnham from New Zealand 😊
Hi Tim awesome videos Tim keep doing what you do some times trucks run great some times they don’t I had a buddy that was a truck mechanic for years he told me if it breaks once a wile that’s trucking and you are still making money that’s a good thing
Stay positive shit happens
I really think it comes down to quality of parts now a days. Yes we have all kinds of tech to see if stuff is in spec, but if the people who are manufacturing it don't have that pride in work and care about what they are doing, the product will suffer. And That's if its even being made in a place like USA or Canada. Never mind all these other countries where its cheap to manufacture and they absolutely don't get paid enough to care.
Another quality video tim. But as Ive read some comments, the haters are already getting on you. Lol
Bonnie's fuel filter sure looks full
Would be better to put the toolbox on the trailer so the gear is always on the trailer so any of the trucks can pull it🤷
That makes too much sense
Hey what’s up fam how y’all doing much love let’s go #GNSTRUCKING stand up checking in with y’all one love fam
Sit down Chris!!!!😂
Gentry and sons is awesome company I'll tell you right now trucks break down when you drive them when you use them anybody that says any different is stupid He's got nice trucks he's running his business good doing his best how can you put someone down for that people need to chill out you go Gentry you go...
I love when Jake’s do their job and you never have to touch the brakes headed down a mountain
You have to touch the brakes a little not much
Timmy I think you should get a real camera stand to put on the truck to film from the inside so you can see the dash you shifting the road. Either that or teach Braxton how to film the right way and actually do a good job with the filming since he is with you most of the time why not teach him a skill even though he probably doesn't really care for it he just wants to drive the truck bought until then it wouldn't hurt
I hate the filming of the gauges especially when you're not even close enough to see what they say. You're not going to film them close enough to film the road
@@Jm-is9ig right
Ahh anybody will find something to fuss about. 🙄😂💀
I know you're fussing about me fussing.😂💀 it's unbelievable@@SamWadsworth5419
Well poor Tim finds out what several customers of Fitzgerald learned. They had corporate mindset . Factory remans cost good boy rebuilds cheaper and charge the same.
Most drivers do not tune their own engines. Trucks cars gocarts motorboats etc.Only expert tuners YOU pay tune YOUR TOYS. How do you think they learn ie. They play with YOUR toys and if it goes bang they say it was ready to blow up anyway. A safe tune is put on a new truck so it can be used with minimal come back or a new one would be in the millions of bucks so THEY DO NOT DO IT. Any way the warranty would be nill and void if you wanted one. Tunes are used when you use them for out of the ordinary jobs and most are detuned for normal use.
Tim don't pay no attention to the haters
Hello Tim and All'. "I" myself ".! Do not doubt you're running miles, you gonna have maintenance and upkeep.(Point beingggg...!(Hello Brax.
Is the block true even u going to put a head u may have the same problem
Perhaps you guys should stop "Tuning" and "Turning Up" your trucks. I've never seen a company blow through heads, head gaskets and engines so frequently.
I don't understand why it's so hard for him to figure it out it's common sense. Notice it's usually when he's driving because he's always turning them up when he drives as he says? Is mechanics Muscat so frustrated with him
You should come to the truck show next weekend in Lebanon Va Thursday Fri sat
There's always a mechanic somewhere that knows more than everybody else
Hey Tim how are you doing today my friend so how is Brax doing today and love watching your UA-cam videos they are very educational videos and keep up the good work and I like the content in the videos
Tim I offer you a CHALLENGE !!! which is on your next Detroit engine build do it with 100% standard OEM parts and see how the engine does !!!
Golly bum another nice video
Tim I’m reaching out to you James Pretty is selling some of his trucks plus he has a trailer with truck parts for sale not sure what is in the trailer but James did say there is cat. Parts in it
I 🙏❤️ God cover's your family and things look up brother ... keep strong
Hey Tim and Brax thanks for the video I enjoyed it
I really believe you need to pull the engine out pull the liners & check the top of that block really well
Tim not that I know but when you took that truck for the road test after the guys finished working on it when you activated the Jake’s it sounded like a valve was slapping dry iron to me!!?? Take into account that I know nothing about Deisel engines well very little and I’m half deaf but it did not sound right but you seemed happy with it so I didn’t give it another thought but now wondering if I should have said something!!! Good luck with whatever you find wrong and I’m hoping it won’t be to labor intensive to find out what the problem is!!! Keep up the amazing content and we’ll see you in the next video!!!
DAMN! Big hood getting north of 7mpg? NICE!
keep up the good work watching from London Ky
Yo Tim I ain't no master mechanics but it sounds like your piston rods don't be sounding right along with the main bearing behind that Jake brake start working everything you let off on pedal over working the engine putting more stress on it constantly fucking up the head gasket and blowing the bolts off the exhaust manifold too.
Not gonna lie those windows need some tint but truck looks good hopefully y’all can keep up on UA-cam now that y’all got settled in the new place and hopefully Holly will recover from her injuries you have to keep a real close eye on little dogs they like to go explore they think they weigh 200lbs and always have to pay attention to the birds flying around my parents had teacup Yorkies and I had one myself until she died of old age. Now I’ve got big dogs, German shepherds and a German lab. But I live out in the country and have plenty of acres for all my animals
Miss seeing your wife on the videos.
AMEN,AMEN;AMEN; BIG TIM, LOVE YAL,BROTHER
