So i have heard about them jamming or what not, is it the amo that they are using? Or is there a flaw that could be fixed? Im looking for another toy and im stuck between the M&P 10 mm and the 5.7 but also the FN 510 tactical but the thing is expensive 🫣
@@TexMexTactical my Ruger never jammed on me, but you do have to CAREFULLY load the ammo. It’s not loading anything else, they have to be lined perfectly. You can’t bs on cocking it back either u have to grip and pull. Other than that I haven’t had any issues and I’ve ran every 5.7 ammo on the market, even dragon fangs, which are not really on the market 😂
That’s like 1911 post trigger job level. That’s my biggest frustration with my FN 57. I’d rather have a lower end gun with a great trigger than a high end one with an average trigger. This gun should crush the Ruger 57 sales especially since it warns in the manual that it can discharge if dropped and you shouldn’t carry it hot, and it has a crappy trigger.
ONLY S&W M&P trigger i liked was S&W M&P Shield Plus in 9mm or .30 Super Carry. I agree this one is the best, but i still prefer Ruger 57 over this or FN 5.7
I took this gun to the range yesterday for the first time and thought this trigger was horrible. It felt like a cheap toy trigger. Very loose with a lot of play and a lot of travel. The grip on the gun is long and narrow which, for me, is a little uncomfortable, but everyone is different. Accuracy of the gun, bench rested, is not very consistent at 20 yards, which is where I zero my pistols. All in all the gun is reasonably priced but performance is nothing to write home about. Being an armorer, I'm going to have to do a lot of work on this gun to get it up to snuff.
Why is everyone making a 57 pistol? It has garbage ballistics, and it’s simply good for penetrating soft body armor which almost nobody wears and it’s a really expensive round.
Thank you for stating this. I was thinking about a 57 for my small son to help me defend the house in case SHTF but now that you say this idk. He’s small and thin so that’s why it was thinking of it. Beats a .22 right?
Getting better reviews than the 9mm. Gel tests shows better impact energy than the 9mm, .357, and a 10mm. You Tube it. I'm buying the new Smith & Wesson....👍

Ballistically it shouldn’t penetrate walls, and the wife and future kid can shoot it no problem. Rounds are expensive, but I have so much training on 9mm I’m not too worried about this one. It comes with a threaded barrel so a suppressor is on the horizon for me. Optics cut, so definitely a Black Friday optic, and of course a TLR-1 light :)
Lol garbage ballistics. Right. The low end 5.7 rounds has the same terminal effect as 9mm so imagine what the more expensive hotter 5.7x28 rounds would do. Ask the people who was shot by the 5.7 at fort hood!!!!
@@gearrunner you a competition shooter? A duty pistol or every day carry should be 4-6lbs. You’ll be gripping your weapon tight in an adrenaline fueled situation. 2lb is fine for plinking and targets.
@@1SmokeyRider If I draw my pistols I’m pulling the trigger if it’s 2 pounds of 32 pounds. I only will pull my pistol if I need to use. I don’t use mine as an intimidation tool or to scare people it only comes out if my life or my families life is in danger.

My 10mm 2.0 has an alright trigger. Its not great by any stretch of the imagination but its not as bad as the other m&ps ive tried
My cousin had a 10mm and it is definitely better than most of the M&P’s I’ve seen
My m&p 1.0 pro series has an incredibly crisp trigger

Yeah, I just got mine yesterday. It is a good trigger better than the FN or Ruger.

You’re high if you think these triggers are acceptable. They need stripped and polished at minimum.
I just checked mine. It pulled 2.5 pounds stock. So if that isn’t good enough for you, you maybe high.
It’s not a good trigger… it’s slightly better then a OEM glock it’s still like 4.5-5 pounds with lots of travel

@@gearrunner s&w has the lowest velocity out of all 5.7 pistols. That’s what the 5.7 needs to be a reliable round. I’m good on the S&W.
