I've enjoyed Airfix kits for YEARS! Now I'm older abd h ave much less space, I'd like to see many more 1/72 models in planes and aromor, both classic (pre 1960) and modern.
Sure the Lysander in 1/48 will be a winner..In your classic range,I remember as a kid Airfix did historical 54mm(I think it was 54mm),historical figures..I had a Roundhead pikeman and a Napoleonic French Grenadier..As not many historical figure kits are around today, would Airfix consider either rereleasing them or even producing new tool figures.I think they’re be a winner and something pre the world wars..Thank you and keep on with the excellent work.!✌️🥸👍
I still have the He-177 in that same 90s edition (white box) stored away waiting to be assembled someday. I was 18 when I bought it, I'm 51 now, my God, what a shame 🤣🤣
I personally would like to see more additions to the tank kits along the lines of the firefly and tiger, the one piece tracks are a dream and a wargamers dream.
Hi, Simon. There is a 1.400 scale model of "SOKOL" / "DZIK" which were British "U" Class s/m operated by the polish navy ( both famous in S/M circles ) but could be built up as a RN vessel......grey or blue for the north sea or med. They are the later straight bow boats not the "Upholder" type. They are made in poland by " MIRAGE HOBBY " . They are small ....measuring approx 6 inches long. I got two off ebay a while ago but have not made them yet. Interestingly.....in the 60s / 70s there were no models of submarines at all. I made a radio controlled U Class (HMS Uproar) in 1973.....3 foot long ...now on display in my small submarine display in orkney....but you had to make submarines from scratch. I am amazed that no company has ever produced a model OBERON class S/M ......I served on HMS ODIN in the 1970s and i know that loads of ex "O" boaters would buy one of those.....i have a mould for a small desktop one that i made to pour plaster into and also an "A" boat. British "U" class S/M were always my favourite class of royal navy S/M.........of course ....many people get confused with german U Boats, Wishing you all the very best Mike Ilett.
@@Reactordrone I'm sorry I didn't realize they have done all new tools for 2024 with acceptable panel lines and in decent plastic, oh wait they haven't, they haven't released a decent 1/72 jet for a while now, and forget that F-35B easy build for morons.
Photoshop humour...just got to love it...well done lads!!
I have the Lysander on pre-order cannot wait to build this kit👍🏻👍🏻
Cannot wait for the Lysander Nathan. Thanks for the camera shot at the end...

Brilliant video Airfix, some super models and I love the clever retouch work with your faces, not sure if long hair suits Dale, prefer his quiff 😀

I would love to see the Airfix He-177 add in the 2025 vintage classic kit?.
me too, still have 1990 edition boxed
Would love to see the return of the SRN4 Hovercraft 😊
Cool models. 👍
Will your ever produce the Vickers Vimy Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII ?
What's the chance of a 1/48th Battle?
You Airfix guys should project more ship models. How about a british U-class submarine of ww2?

Where are the 1/72 scale jets
It’s because they have another 500 spitfire models coming soon
Yeah, they've only got the jet provost, Gnat, Hawk, Meteor, Swift, Phantom, Buccaneer, Sea Harrier, Harrier Gr.7/9, lightning F.2A, F-35B, Me-262 and MiG-17.

So the only truly new things were in 1/48th then...
