I like Chiroti but definitely prefer Pheni. Maduve munji galalli idu favourite. Pheni maaduvudu kashta endu gothithu aadare, ishtu shrama anta tilidiralilla. Dhanyavadagalu Chetan avare idannu namage torisidakke. Arun avare tamagu dhanyavadagalu. Thanks for this, much appreciated. I got excited when I saw the title and thought I can try at home, but I am not skilled enough as this is another level.

Mr Chethan Rao thankyou very much for demystifing the secret. I always relished pheni, each time wondering how it was prepared. Thin beautiful strands of pheni amazed me. It's indeed a laborious process, an art by itself.
I used to feel sad when lovely strands of pheni became wet and limp with the application of warm milk. I wanted to enjoy the nice crunchy feeling when I placed it on my palate. So I tried cold milk, not satisfied, I yet again tried curd, just set, firm and sweet.
I could see it retained the crunchiness and boora sakkare sprinkled, it's heavenly experience to munch sweetened pheni.. please try.. check it up for yourselves.
