I'm a 43-year-old Japanese person living in Fukuoka, Japan. I never thought that the day would come when I would be able to watch my favorite song, Journey to the Past, sung by my beloved Aaliyah, who returned to heaven at a young age, in high quality 4K video...I would like to thank the person who posted this. thank you. 😭🙏
I love Aaliyah music but we can't assume she went to heaven. That's just wishful thinking. Before her death she admitted to being involved in the dark side🫥
We all done things we regret, on the dark side, were humans but we done good things to, God and Jesus Christ will, can for give us for our mistakes, it's all about trying be better, I'm sure Aaliyah is forgiven, so it's nothing wrong saying She's in God's Kingdom, Rest Baby Girl Aaliyah 💐🕊️🙏💞
Am I the only 20+ year old who has the urge to rewatch and re-listen things that I used to love in my childhood? Getting back to old memories is the best therapy for an adult, I swear.
Unbelievable this video almost predictable her voice and beauty with the children disappeared into the clouds unknowingly she wouldn’t be around much longer to make any more music videos ,online music , never be another Aaliyah, and didn’t even get a chance to have any more beautiful children of her own to carry on her legacy is the saddest part of her unthinkable, timely passing and her crew members
I don't think there will ever be a voice that will EVER compare to how pure Aaliyah's voice is, so pure and so heavenly... We truly lost something special that walked this planet

Aliyah song from the Movie Anatassia by Disney. The Disney cartoon format revolved around the life of Princess Anatassia of Russia, the entire royal family were murdered by the Bolsheviks or communists. Great song. Some years ago dna tests were done to identify the bodies and the Late Prince Phillip had to donate his DNA and it was a match they found the bodies of the murdered Russian royal family. Aliyah really brought it in this song and so sad that she just like a princess Anatassia, passed away at such a young age.

I HEAR EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED TO HER IN THIS SONG.
why is this video clearer than real life?😂 Thank you for uploading and remastering this.
I miss her so! Her signature sound was from 3:20-3:49. Hey yeahhhh. So angelic, even when she took the hey yeahhh on a lower registry. Thank you for making the video crystal clear. How awesome you are!
This is my favorite song performed by Aaliyah. I love the hope and youthfulness to her voice in this song!
The character Anastasia and Aaliyah are very similar, tender but at the same time she has that fight in her.
Why am I only now just seeing this!?!?!? This is my fave song from the movie! ❤❤❤
Aaliyah the best case of what could have been. R.I.P. we won't forget
This song speaks to me in a way that has no words. Aaliyah voice on this is just pure beauty❤
Man, so many 90s female singers gone too soon. Lisa Left-Eye Lopez, Selena, Aaliyah etc.
You can’t leave out Whitney
It's a crime that this isn't on Spotify!!
LYRICS
Heart don't fail me now
Courage don't desert me
Don't turn back now that we're here
People always say
Life is full of choices
No one ever mentions fear
Or how the road can seem so long
How the world can seem so vast
Courage see me through
Heart i'm trusting you
On this journey to the past
Somewhere down this road
I know someone's waiting
Years of dreams just can't be wrong
Arms will open wide
I'll be safe and wanted
Finally home where I belong
Well starting here my life begins
Starting now I'm learning fast
Courage see me through
Heart I'm trusting you
On this journey to the past
Heart don't fail me now
Courage don't desert me
Home, love, family
There was once a time
I must've had them too
Home, love, family
I will never be complete until I find you
One step at a time
One hope then another
Who knows where this road may go
Back to who I was
Onto find my future
Things my heart still needs to know
Yes, let this be a sign
Let this road be mine
Let it lead me to my past
Courage see me through
Heart I'm trusting you
To bring me home
At last
At last
She’s in Heaven with Lord. 😢😔💐🕊💛
