This procedure is awesome. My husband had this done 4 days ago (12-6-17) and was walking a half hour later with no limping. He's 81 and because of his age had to stay for 2 nights. Had he been younger, the physical therapist and Dr. would have let him come home the next day. I couldn't believe my eyes when the PT came in, said let's go for a walk and saw my husband take off down the hall with him. I called our son and told him and took pictures. Not everyone is going to react the same way but from personal experience, if I ever need to have a replacement this will be the way I go. On the way home I stopped off at CVS to pick up a prescription and he came in with me. Also, his surgeon used a Zip Line stitch which means no sutures or staples to remove. Modern medicine...Ya gotta love it.
Welcome to the world that I live in everyday of my life, at best I can get 3-4 hours of sleep at a time, but when you have to move because of pain every few hours and it’s constant, what do you do? You can’t stand, sit, walk or sleep without pain ( I’m talking about 6-10 24/7 ) you need help. Sure I’m 70 and I’ve put this off for about 2 years. I don’t know how someone who is in their late forties early fifties with so much life ahead would want to wait to have this done. I’ve had standing problems for 20 plus years but didn’t give it a thought. Go youngster’s and get fixed so you can enjoy your time with your grandkids
