Ep 65 3 SIMPLE Ways to tell an ESTJ and ENTJ apart

An ESTJ is often confused with the ENTJ. In fact, whenever someone encounters a bossy person they will call this person an ESTJ (but more often an ENTJ). This is a large misconception. Self engrossed leaders like Donald Trump are neither ESTJ nor ENTJ because he doesn't use extraverted thinking (Te), which is a dominant function used by the ESTJ/ ENTJ.
Now suppose you are very sure someone is a Te dominant user, then now you may ask this question more meaningfully. Is he an ESTJ or ENTJ? We can consider the auxiliary and tertiary functions of each type:
    ESTJ - Si and Ne
ENTJ - Ni and Se respectively,
We can tell the two apart from the auxiliary and the tertiary functions and how they manifest themselves in their observable behaviours.
In this episode DS shares with viewers three tips that may help to do the trick!

My bro is entj and I’m estj. People that know us think we both are highly intelligent. They think he is more outgoing and I’m more hardworking. No one says I’m introverted. They are afraid of me. He is more popular than I am. But they think I am more serious.
We both are very very respected in our society. He is far more judgmental than me but everyone respects him a lot. He is a HuGE networker.
I rely solely on my experience work ethic and I appreciate everyone that isn’t lazy.
My brother likes people that are successful because he sees them as business prospects. And if he sees someone that isn’t successful but has talent he can swoon them in and make a monetary project out of them.
I am FAR more modest. And you are right. I only wear solid colors. And same hairdo.
He can hold onto grudges for years. He is a plotter. I usually just get angry let it out and forget it.

Im getting the impression that everyone thinks the ENTJ is better than the ESTJ in almost every way that isnt sensory.

although ESTJ can be more random with their Ne child, but still heavily rely on past models while ENTJ is more unconventional in general.
also ESTJ is more detail oriented, whereas ENTJ find too much details distracting. ESTJ mircormanage whereas ENTJ has a more relaxed hand down attitude towards the actual procedures

@@_linlin_ no its not. Si is internalized sensation, an impression of Se experiences. nothing profound about it.

I love this. I used to be an ENTJ until I changed somehow into an ESTJ. (5 years gap in MBTI testing) XD It's like a comparison of how I used to be to how I am now. Still sometimes in between. HAHA!

I'm doing research for a character I'm writing and this really helped!
I feel she has some S qualities sometimes but she's more of an ENTJ in all.

I'm only halfway through the video, but this is really helpful, thank you!! Have a thumbs up 😊 I'm _pretty_ sure my dad is an ENTJ and my mom is an ESTJ (divorced, to answer your "can they be freinds?" question 😂). The 2 types look so similar to me on paper, but I can tell my parents are very different even if they both seem like ExTJs. I wish I got some of their "get stuff done" genes, but I ended up as an ENFP 😅 anyways, *thank you* for helping me identify their important differences so I can tell which types they are!!
Even though we don't share most of our functions, my dad seems a lot like what I imagine a mature ENFP would be like. He likes to try out new hobbies and talk philosophy and abstract "what ifs" with me, but he's so much more practical and capable of doing literally anything he wants to do. *Is it normal for ENTJs to be really interested in new things, or I'd it more likely that he's an ENFP with very strong Te?*

Cognitive functions are unlikely to be inherited. However, psychologists do know that Extraversion/ introversion is. Hence Exxx parents are more likely to have Exxx children.

I was questioning if I was an ENTJ or ESTJ. I suck at sticking with routines and I have been told I am unpredictable. I know I have definitely done some counter intuitive moves when playing chess and the guy I was playing did not expect the move. I didn't win or lose but it was a stale mate. If I hadn't made that move I would of lost for sure lol!

From what I know ENTJ can be loud and speak their minds off, while ISTJ, is fast processing when it comes to talking and thinking, is like talk in one go

    • @NITTBrainwrekSingapore1
      @NITTBrainwrekSingapore1  2 роки тому +1

Yes what you say is possible especially when an ENTJ is triggered. However, if you know a person is a particular type based on what they tell you they are, then it might be inaccurate. A lot of the self proclaimed ENTJs are actually ESFPs and ESFPs are damn loud and just speak their mind. A lot of people's idea or understanding of MBTI is very surface and many merely type themselves based on alphabets instead of cognitive functions (the correct way), hence leading to a lot of mistyped individuals.

Whether ENTJ like to use short words, when talking because they want to be very efficient...
If go to the war, u see the commander not necessary use LONG DESCRIPTIVE world, some time they use sign language
