Rest in piece Adventure time, Pendleton ward did such a good job, and I’m sad it’s over. I’ll always miss this dynamic duo. And even though this show wasn’t the most to me towards the later bit... I’ll always love this show for what it was to me during my childhood. And I still get ready every now and then when I listen

I’ve started rewatching Adventure Time recently, and I’m currently on season 5. I’m glad to say I like it just as much as I ever did, and there are certain episodes that I appreciate more. Also, absolutely watch the new Fionna and Cake series. It’s worth it. :)
I *wish* I had watched this show as a kid, *it's such a deep cutting pain,* and I know there's *no* *way* to remedy it other than just *enjoying* the show right now. Even if I *had* known what I was missing out on I don't think I could've watched either way. It's just my family never used cable TV all that much and I *vividly* remember being *banned* from watching Spongebob and Digimon Adventure/Adventure 02, so I likely wouldn't have been allowed. My parents aren't *nearly* that strict now and I'm older so I can watch it today but it *hurts* watching this show for the first time in 2023 just *knowing* it will *never* hit the same as it would've back then. At least my younger sibling, while still not *that* young, will likely get to remember it with nostalgia... Y'know that actually kinda lightens the mood, as my art teacher always says: "Be the change you want to see in the world" a little corny I guess, but knowing he's getting what I wanted to have as a kid makes me feel a *lot* better about the situation.
