Hopefully you read this Jack. Never been to prison but you've actually changed me, man. Your perspective is so amazing to me. I don't know if you're uniqeuly special (your experiences could be that) or I just haven't heard a perspective similar to yours but it's uniqe to me regardless. You've really made an impact on me so thanks.
@Cooter Tamer What's to stop you from doing that? Circumstance is brutal sometimes. Jack clearly isn't perfect but nobody is. Forgiveness is the only real way forward, even just in terms of forgiving yourself. I'm not entirely sure what your point is but I don't think I'm being fooled. Jack is a huge benefit to the world and I'd happily live next to him and work with him. Especially now that he's grown as a person and paid off all of his debts lol. Keep it real mate, thanks for the reply.
I found your channel after looking for Brighton Rock cos it looked interesting after Richard Attenborough died, but I couldn't find the full film. I watched a documentary about the Krays instead and your video on advising people about to "go dahn" popped up in that load of videos suggested on the right>. I can relate to you totally although I've never been to prison myself. What drugs were you into pre-prison and just how mad were you when you committed your crime, you haven't spoken much about mental illness. Congratulations on building a life after a sentence for armed robbery!
Thanks rureadyboots ! I appreciate the support dude. I shall definitely make a few vlogs on my mentality before prison, I just don't want it to sound like I'm making excuses for my crime, so I'm having a good think about what I can say before hand. Thanks for the support and comment amigo :)
Husb and I want to make a permaculture garden when he's finished with prison. We will of course need to find somewhere to live that isn't my current flat devoid of soil or lifegiving properties.
All good fluent descriptions of your experiences clear cut speaking easily understood down to earth no sugar coating you tell it for what it is sound as a pound . What is your zodiac sign ?
Well done for your honesty. It is strong to be open. I love playing the piano too, I presume playing the piano would be out of the question in prison. Can you play instruments in prison? I would like to know before I go.
yeah,so right now I am waiting to hear from the courts.Only a judge can give a sentence and only a judge can take it away.Due to 'good progress',they are planning to revoke my sentence. This happened to me before. If you are out and no longer on tag, they can apply to the court to revoke the remainder of the sentence due to 'good progress'.So just waiting really. But as you will know jack, patience is one thing you need in abundance whilst in the prison system-nothing happens overnight,so you have to wait and ask when your opportunity arises.
Hey Kat Lowe - Let me know if you hear anything, I hope it goes well for you. If you are making good progress anyway, that's a good thing, anything else is just a bonus :) I hope you get it sorted :)
Hey Stay Schemin . Yeah that's right, directgov will be able to tell you more details about it. But the general rule is that you serve half of your sentence if sentenced to prison, the other half of the sentence you do outside of prison but on "license", ie with probationary supervision, you have to attend meetings etc. If you make any mistake they can simply take you back to prison and make you serve out the rest of your license. Hope that helps :)
And ur vlog...it does help a lot of people, believe me. Jack could you possibly tell me about Open Conditions. Apart from leaving the establishments to go to some form of work are unaccompanied town visits encouraged?
Hey Sandy , well its not easy to set up the external work firstly, but it can be done. You need to have a track record of being trust worthy and the opportunity in a company that is willing to hire a currently serving con. If you know any local / family businesses and stuff, this may be possible. Town visits are encouraged yes, its part of the resettlement drive into normal civilian conditions. It depends on your sentence and your record whether or not you will be able to get them, but generally, if your going to a Cat-D, you will be eligible for most of what they have to offer and a big part of that is Home Leaves and Town visits. Hope your good squire :)
I think I removed my email addy from the vids, but if you spot it somewhere, could you point that out for me,pls.I would like to be in touch with me,that is a little 'middle class' and has had prison experience, like yourself.would be very glad if I can help in any way.
Hey Kat Lowe. I haven't seen your email anywhere, why not just send it in a personal message to me? No one will see it that way. Yeah, that would be some great help :)
Thank you for replying to my message. Don't be afraid to read this. I will never belittle you and am not offended by your answer. Who or what has hurt you so much that you ended up in prison? Tell me more about yourself. If not on public media, then send message on my Facebook. Give it a try! You can rant and rave at me as much as you want to. If you need a whipping boy, I am here and want to help you. You are precious and if you need a granny to rely on, there is ample room in my heart. I will be here for you until I leave this world. My only desire is to be able to help in some way ,to make you realise how precious your life is .
have you tried to go back to visit anyone inside since you left? I write with a guy in texas in prison, where they charge the inmate $100 to see the doc!!hey you know, the weather has been really hot-PLEASE stop wearing your wife beater.
Hey Kat Lowe. Lol, I've never heard of anyone so obsessed with stopping someone they don't even know from wearing something. My Dad is from Texas, and they heavily endorse the wife beating vest there! Yeah, I've been back inside some of the prisons to visit some of my friends and do a few gigs! It was fun, but very strange.

Jack Hill Could you please explain prison sentences, do you only have to serve half of your sentence? so if you get 12 months you only serve 6?
