Hey there! Yes I think it would be fine at that weight, its been super stable with me around 170-180, it stays super high in the water and it doesnt fill up. I do leave the scupper plugs in, I never liked the idea of having open holes at the bottom of my watercraft, always seemed counter productive lol. I actually have a video I still need to put out showing it going through some pretty choppy water. Now as for Standing up in it, that I have not tried yet and I'm not sure its that kind of fishing kayak. For normal use I highly reccommend it. For a 10 foot kayak Its more of height being an issue than anything else I would think, not body weight. While theres a little more room for my legs at 5' 9" there isnt a ton, so I think around 6 foot or so would be max height for complete comfort, probably could get away with 6' 2" but would be more cramped. The center console with the drink holder and place for extra rod holder is nice, but it does take up some room in the kayak.
@@FISHINGwithGREG thanks I appreciate your input..... I plan to use it in calm waters and will be purchasing one this week. I'll be on the lookout for your next video.
Congrats on the great day on the lake. Killer catches!
Thank you! it was definitely exciting, made me want to keep going back to Cayuga lol.
I'd It was a good day for you. Do you think that kayak would be stable for a 220lb male?
