I love the sound of christmas eve although i've never been in Western or United States but it gives me the emotion of looking forward to reunion with family. Yah and i just see it in the movie but it makes me feel happy, i hope one day i'll be in Western or Usa to enjoy that great moment
I'm not sure about how to explain the difference between background and foreground noises, but I associate the background noise with something distant that you can hear while the foreground noise is the main sound. For example, when you are in the waiting room for a doctor's appointment, the foreground sound would be the conversation between you and the secretary, while the background sound would be calm music to relax patients.
in terms of background noise, we register its presence but we dont stop to listen it, we just hear it...while the forground sound demands listener s attention...
There is nothing worse than waking up with an alarm clock... that's why I only use vibration to get up, as the alarm sound is at the top of the most annoying noises for me. Another noise that bothers me a lot is the one make by mosquitoes and flies, especially when I'm trying to read or even sleep. I also dislike dogs barking repeatedly, and that's my neighbor's dog's fault. On the other hand, my top 3 pleasant sounds are definitely the rain, instrumental songs and fireworks. My favourite one is the rain at night so I can fall asleep easily. I love listening to instrumental songs when I'm studying which helps me to concentrate. And last but not least is the sound of fireworks because I associate them with celebrations and I'm usually happy when they happen.
Shrieking seagulls are my pet peeve while soaking up sunshine in the beach. Bumper-to-bumper traffic is another nightmare of my daily commute. (Doesn't make any sense )
I can never stand piercing Iron rubbing noises & how annoying to hear driving a nail while construction also squeezing of sour teeth hurts me sometimes.

i dislike the sounds like people make slurping noise while drinking something and i can't stand repititive high-pitched sounds and dogs barking with high volume to our face these sounds are absolutely drives me crazy when i'm not in good mood,
