How am I supposed to know when you didn't even tell us what each card was? You apologized multiple times for the text not being picked up, yet you couldn't be bothered to fill us in what each one was. Why?

I agree with you reamce, the lazy pips really frustrated & annoyed me. I thought I wouldn't buy another deck from the Insight Editions range ever again for that reason. But this deck looks like they've finally lifted their game, at least I hope so with other decks as well from now on. 🙄

I own the dark wood and love it, dont have any horror gene decks for Halloween except maybe 2 nightmare before Christmas and Halloween oracle but both are more PG, but this deck, ive been seeing alot of. Very drawn to it. Im not drawn to hocus pocus, I mean i love the movie 🎥 but im good. This deck has me intrigued. Finally got two decks, that ive been stalking for months. This one has been something still has been on my mind for months. I love Tim Curry Movies, Clue! Lol I love Abigails work too.
Insight Editions actually doing a great deck without pip cards is amazing. I hope they stay in this direction. I pre-ordered their DC comics deck but I can tell from the images alone there will be pip cards which angers me because there’s so many characters in the DC universe
I'm gonna wait to see what the pips look like for the DC comics deck before I decide if I'll purchase. I don't want to get royally annoyed at lazy-ass pips again. 🙄
I have the temu version of this deck and I truly resonate with it. I am a huge horror buff and I love the variety in the styles and artwork. I have the universal monsters deck as well but I honestly prefer this one.

I think Abigail Larson, the illustrator, most likely deserves the credit. She did the artwork for the Dark Wood Tarot which had scenic pips. I think she has some tarot knowledge.

Alright, I seriously didn't think I'd ever say this about any Insight Editions deck but I LOVE THE PIPS in this deck! I've had it on preorder but after the let-down with the Hocus Pocus & Skyrim decks, I'd pretty much given up on them & was on the fence whether or not to cancel this preorder of the Horror deck. But I'm not on the fence anymore, it's gonna be making friends with my other decks once it arrives at my place! If they did a remake of both the Hocus Pocus & Skyrim decks, I'd be all-in to grab a copy of both - IF THEY ILLUSTRATED THEIR PIPS BETTER! Also btw, I'm still going with the creepy clown as the creepiest card in the deck, I'm fine with the shadow on the 9 of Pentacles but really don't like clowns so much. Thank you Natasha for this review & regaining my trust in Insight Editions decks again. 🙏👿🌙💡🌏💞
I think that is probably due to the fact that Abigail Larson (the illustrator) also did the artwork for the Dark Wood Tarot (which has scenic pips) and seems to have some understanding of tarot.
I'm going to pass on this one. I didn't like the pentacle minors just a little to bare for my tastes. It also looks so much like the Dark Wood Tarot that I already have. Great video. Thanks for posting.

When did vampires become elves? I always think it was Buffy which began the depiction of 'Sculpey faced' vampires. I don't know when or even why vampires became elves, it's really the only thing holding me back from liking the look of this deck...
Not a horror movie fan but I must say it was not so pippy as they usually do, maybe they are getting the idea if they want sell more decks the pips have gotta go. But I do love the Moon card with the werewolf it's iconic ! Thanks for the review

I now fully understand why you gave that recommendation that it may not be right if you are a beginner. The artwork just called to me and I couldn't help myself! I would love to expand my knowledge. I appreciate being kind and tactful, but I do not appreciate when guys praise decks on amazon and such because they liked or loved previous decks or artist style...It is not helpful to anyone genuine. I find this deck having serious faults. For first - it shuffles in a very uncomfortable way - cards stick to each other in chunks, you can not fan them and so on. You can not see the name of the card unless into right angle or close to the face, lots of pictures/drawing do not make sense and do not create any horror vibe...Borders...well, no. And the last but not least - absolutely meaningless little book, the waste of paper. Disappointment. P.S. The Empress and The Sun cards are seriously bad.
