The reason why the beaches in Tobago are better because just 7 miles of of Trinidad is Orinoco River in Venezuela which is second biggest river system in South America. The river is so huge that the salinity of the water drops all around Trinidad and even as far Tobago sometimes.

Not because people in Trinidad doesn’t say anything to you doesn’t mean they are disrespectful towards you sir. We love you from a distance first then we assess you, then we welcome you into our culture. Dat is a true trini!!! Trinidadians have to get up and GO get! Tobago is our luxury Spa and we love them just as much as we love Jamaicans and rest of the Caribbean.

As a Trinidadian you should know that cities like Port of Spain is a totally different past. You walking around saying good morning to people just doesn’t make sense. People from south Trinidad are way more relaxed and street friendly than other parts of the country. I am not saying that there aren’t unmanly people wherever you go, but most of the people in Trinidad are relatively friendly people. They needs to stop being on Trinidadians because Trinidadians accepts everyone but themselves. Visit, enjoy and move on 🙌

In this interview what stands out to me the most was the longevity of the marriage
It’s extremely hard to see black marriages for over 50 years, not that it don’t happen, I am sure they had their challenges but they kept it
Now as a Trinidadian, I envy him lol, I left Trinidad as a teen and have no desire to return to live, I am now 61 and I usually visit Trinidad to see my 93 year old mom but live, I can’t do it, thank you sir for your inspiring story

Tania, you must go out to Bucco Reef in the glass bottom boat. You don't have to know how to swim. That is one of the most important places to go in Tobago; also Pigeon Point. Seniors must be a Trinidadian citizen to travel free on the busses and ferry. Ask this gentleman if he has a website. I am checking out places for next March. I stayed at Reefview Apartments in Bucco the last time I was there. I am glad that you are enjoying your vacation.

OK, great to see you in Tobago, Tania. Yes, I loved and enjoyed the video. Now I have to go watch your other T&T vids. In earlier times when Jamaica could afford stuff, there was a summertime Cadet exchange with with T&T, B'dos and Canada. I spent about one week in Tobago of the month passed in T&T (July-August, 1968). I remember Scarborough, Pigeon Point, Buccoo Reef, etc. Your video has tickled me, so my mind is working now...

I too have had the pleasure of staying at Carmen & Winston. What a warm and exceptional couple. Oh how I miss those amazing fruits and ground provisions. This interview has made me a little home sick to say it mildly, in a way that I’m now thinking of planning a vacation to Trinidad Tobago. It goes without saying. Do you love every Trini? The Trinis in Jamaica are mostly professionals.
Jamaicans go to these islands to eek out a living..One of the reasons, they get no respect.
