Two great leaders! They changed the history, and were able to understand each other in spite of the fact that their countries were enemies in the cold war!

Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev. Two great men and great leaders. Their dialogue changed the course of history. Sadly, there will never be another of either of them. Compare Washington and Moscow now vs. then. Enough said. RIP to both great men!

Well, I am really very touched watching these great moments of history once again. And even after all these years I realised how great these two guys were at that time as well as their wives. They broke the rules and first of all they broke the iron courtine between East and West! Thank you guys for everything you have done for the whole world. The common leaders of your countries can not compare to you! I am very happy to have an opportunity to live my life in Reagan´s and Gorbachev´s time! Never forget. Howgh.

Just look how professional does the interpreter of Gorbachev performs. Excellent delivery and clarity, phonetics, he even sounded like Reagan while translating from Russian into English.

Given the conditions of the world back then, both Mr. Reagan and Mr. Gorbachev, despite the decades of mis-trust between both countries stepped into the lions den and came out as victors. Both were men who were in the right place at the right time.
