Kayak Fishing Tournament for Halibut at Oyster Point

I entered Nick Fish's (‪@NickFish007‬) halibut tournament at out of Oyster Point in San Francisco on May 7th, 2023. It was my first time fishing in those waters. I was able to catch a 26 inch halibut that weighed 6.8lbs using frozen herring that I caught earlier in the year. But my halibut was a far cry from the weights of top three that won the tournament. I had a lot of fun and was able to meet a lot of great folks in the kayak fishing community. I'm looking forward to coming out to Oyster Point more once summer arrives.
