Great stuff Tammy and thanks for this very helpful aid. Wondering if you could do something similar showing best thicknesses for the base paint, as well as the amount of base paint to use - that is, the actual paint thickness as well as how thick a layer to use. Many thanks again - keep on pouring :)

Thank you. I have been trying to figure out paint consistencies by myself for a couple of months now. I live in a remote mountain town in Colorado. All big cities are two or more hours from me. I did my first successful bloom today with American floetrol because of your teaching and your chart. It works and my heart is overflowing with Thankfulness for you.

Thanks for the help. I really needed to try something new because my pouring isn't giving me any satisfaction anymore. I'll use this as a new beginning.
I finally watched this wonderful video and discovered I am making my paint way too thick. I mixed 3 colors all the same consistency. Did 3 flip cups. Discovered I made way too much paint! When it is thinner it goes farther. Still it turned out pretty good. I am very excited to try more techniques with all the paints the same consistency!
