- What the heck is an Aria Cardinal Guitar?
In todays video, I will give this 2009 Aria Cardinal CS-600 some basic guitar maintenance including a quick setup and a good clean.
I recently purchased this unfamiliar Aria Cardinal from a online guitar auction for £33.79.
This Aria guitar has a quilted maple top on a mahogany body covered in a trans blue finish. Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and pearloid Block inlays. Seymour Duncan designed HB104 pickups that sounds pretty awesome!
If you have anymore information regarding these Aria Cardinal CS-600 guitars please let me know in the comments.

Used to have an Aria Cardinal short scale fretless bass from the early eighties. Really good build quality. I also remember lots of people having Arias when I was first playing in bands 89 /90 ish. Decent LP and ES335 copies I remember.
Yeah they used to be everywhere, them earlier ones were something special 👌
are they related to the Aria pro 2?
Videos back 👌👌
korea i would say could be samick factory really nice guitars Aria are don’t matter china , Japan, korea very nice guitars i have a Aria telecaster guitar made in china a newer one i love it i wouldn’t sell it for fender ever.
Yeah they're awesome 💯👌
Nice to see you're back on track Rob, you went from several montha without any content, to be a nonstop videomaking machine, great!
Rock on 🤘🎸💯😎
A bargain at that price for sure. Pickups are a bit pony clean imo, but have character with the dirt on .
To be fair the amp didn't help 😄
@@theguitarmanifesto I didn't notice mate , the Line 6 something? No good?
It's the workshop amp
Love a good bargain, in fact, most guitars I've had and have were a good deal.
Awesome, that's how it's done 👍✅
She cleaned up great! Nice test drive! Is this the same Aria as the Aria Pro II's?? I couldn't walk in to a music shop in the 80's without seeing those. They really marketed them to the metal player. You made your money back with the pickups and tuners. I never bought any of those "label remover" products. Here we have one called Goo Gone. I've always used lighter fluid/Ronsonol (naphtha). It doesn't hurt the finish. It takes stickers and price tags off. Doesn't leave any residue. One less bottle to look for😹😹😹
A couple of metal heads I knew in the mid 80's loved their Aria Pro II guitars! At the time I believe they were being manufactured in the Cort factory when they were in Korea.
I'm sure the cardinals are somehow taken from the Aria Pro II, again I'm not that clued up on arias.
I had a few arias back in the day and they were great.
As long as it removes the glue I'm good 🤣
@@shaunw9270 Cort and Korea? Cool-thanks!
@@theguitarmanifesto I never had any of them. But there was no shortage of shape-variety or color! Yes-whatever works!!🙃
@@MrAcEsNeIgHtS1188 Yes ,Cort's original factory from 1973 was in Seoul, South Korea . Later relocated to Indonesia.
Nice pickups!
The bridge especially
Great video mate 👍🏻 Nice looking guitar, looks great after the clean up. You got a bargain there. I think it sounds great with the overdrive/ distortion 👍🏻
Thank you, she definitely comes alive when you add the dirty stuff 😁
Stole that one. Cleaned up nice too. Cheers!
It was a great deal 👌😎
